I see reksai at least 1 in 10 games but lissandra and elise are legit nonexistent, the last lissandra i saw was 2 weeks ago AND IT WAS ME, the last elise i saw was like 2016.

Oh, this is the one subject that I love the boards for. It's about the only consistent thing you can get out of all the boards members which is that if Kalista is brought up as being weak or unplayed, everyone immediately says, "As it should be".

This stems from a slew of problems that Riot has both failed and refused to address, most importantly her dominance in LCS. Her weak state problems also extends to other champs in different ways, it's not limited to her as a champion, as is the case with Azir, Ryze, Elise, Karma etc. But those are executable in the hands of skilled players in Solo Q, whereas Kalista has difficulty finding independent success.

But in Kalista's case, her entire kit effectiveness is tied to her kit, if she doesn't have her support near her, she loses nearly half of her abilities. The Soulbind Mechanic is so wonky and disjointed that not playing with a duo with comms will seriously hinder your chances of getting sginificant success. Couple this with the slew of extremely lazy nerfs by Riot (90% AA scaling lmfao) that ultimately crippled her ability to function as an ADC, instead she serves as a Kirby with shitty DPS. The direction Riot took with the 6.6 nerfs onward have been the absolute worst, since they made her legitimately unfun to play.

My solution? Remove the Black Spear, give her a more sensible ulti than damage less Malphite Ulti/ get out of jail card for supports and remove these absolutely ridiculous nerfs that did nothing to fix her issues.

Yeah I think her base mechanics were so heavily tuned towards duos and LCS she's largely unplayable right now. The only time she's been meta was back when she was op.

I miss her though. But there are champions even more non-existent. Like Azir Lissandra Kassadin Trundle Urgot Fizz Annie Amumu Poppy

There like extremely small pool of champions that people play even in normals...

Kalista at least appears in my games once in a while.

i've seen all these champs at least a few times in the past few months, heck i just played against a kassadin, just played as lissandra, had an urgot yesterday, a poppy the day before that, and i see trundle every day. Legit have yet to see kalista since the end of the year

I've seen almost all those champions at least fairly recently with the exception of Fizz, who I usually ban.

They're under the radar. Really strong if you know how to properly play them. Require a bit of commitment since you actually need to learn them which takes a bit of time.

Can tell who doesn't watch the esports.... Skarner is near 100% ban in competitive for a bit now. Trundle and Azir see regular play as well.

Korea high ranked sees quite a bit of Kassadin still.

But yeah... Think I saw a Kalista in an ARAM like two months ago......

about 1/4th of the champion pool in league of legends belongs to the pro players and those champions are balanced around pro play,that of course means that most of those champions are dogshit garbage for players in ranked and normal games.
