Proper Auto Attacking

Hi folks,

i know this question has been on the internet as long as LoL or even MOBA's exist. I wanna know how you guys kite and do the auto attack cancelation or in general auto attack? Especially on AD Carries. By Default Riot teaches you to auto attack by right clicking. So right click for movement commands and for auto attacking. There are a bunch of methods with "Attack Move", "Attack Move Click", "Attack Move Only Click" etc. Then you could rebind those commands to the A-Key, Right click + Shift, Spacebar, Side Buttons on the mouse or even the left click button on your mouse. I have tried a lot of these techniques but never really got used to one completely. In the end, I see myself sticking to just right click and try to be as accurate as I can be with it. Unfortunately, this isn't really as accurate as I want it to be and the rebind of "Attack Move Click" to the left mouse button brings a lot of compromises because of the usual functions you can't do with the left mouse button anymore. So I didn't stick to that neither.

It would be cool to know what you guys use and if you know what most pros use to be this accurate on their ADC mechanics. I feel like it would be such a huge improvement if i was finally able to stutter step correctly without misclicking, walking towards the enemies, cancel my attacks too early and not being able to use my full Attack Speed because of me trying to move between each auto attack.

I used to try and use a special control edit where I bound attackmove click on my left mouse button, but I got tired of some of the limitations it put me in so I reverted to normal. Now I just use right click for attacking, and kite the old fashion way. Click champ, move back as soon as the projectile spawns, click champ, move, etc. The key to optimal kiting is knowing the time it takes in your champions animation frames. Theres a moment in time where your auto attack projectile spawns in, and at that moment, you can move without canceling your auto attack. If I ever need to attack move, I just use shift+right click
