Tell me about your 'most wrong' assumptions you made before stuff got released

I thought it would be fun to see how much the regular League player can be fooled when seeing changes before he/she can test them in-game.

Let me start with some things I got wrong myself:

I was dead sure Jhin would be played mid lane. The lack of Attack Speed made him impossible to be played bot lane in my head.
I thought Dusk Blade would be the most broken sh*t released to the game. Turns out it isn't that big of a deal.
I thought the 20AP nerf on Runic Echoes would gut the true AP junglers that didn't build it to abuse it (Hecarim, Udyr...)

edit: I am so sorry I don't reply to everyone of you :( We are currently at 120+ comments which is amazing but starts to get out of control :D But you can count on me to at least read every one of them (!!!), which is something I guess.

Some long time ago, I thought the new Summoner's Rift map rework would suck and make the game lose its identity... Now when I look at some old gameplay I question the sanity of my past-self.

Protobelt would ruin the game. Though a little before its release I was a little more open about it, but still, right after I heard about it I may have popped a blood vessel.

when i saw the latest fiora nerfs i thought they wouldnt be that big of a deal turns out they are and she needs 3-4 items to be half as good as the fotm champions...

The worst (and only) wrong assumption I ever made, was thinking adding speed boost to Ahri's Orb of Deception, won't be enough of a copensation.

Turned out she was the only DFG champion that went positive after the patch.

I thought that the one thing that Duskblade would do would break Twitch to hell. I was absolutely certain that he would be 70+% P/B in LCS after that change, but he ended up keeping his lack of play.

Most things I'm right about. That one was definitely not an example.

I thought Tahm Kench was going to need extreme buffs to at least get to a playable level LOL. Like I thought he was going to be weaker than full ad azir.

I thought the second Skarner rework, the juggernaut one, was going to be underpowered as hell..... but it turned out to be one of the most OP things in the history of LoL :P

Other then that one time I think I've been right about almost everything else, you can go look at my logs and posts about champ and item reworks if you don't believe me, pretty sure I've been quite accurate on everything else... o.O

I have the best one.

Basically, the worst assumption made ever was by anyone who disagreed with me on this post (yes, that is my name and I forgot log-in since it's been so long since I've played). If only rito would listen to me....it's simple. A champion THAT OVERLOADED should not STILL HAVE MORE FUCKING DAMAGE THAN A CHAMPION THAT LITERALLY HAS ONLY DAMAGE. Still makes me upset that whoever designed this pos champ was this dumb.
