Here are two guides for the highest win rate mid laners in the game. Learning these champions right now would be a great investment as these champions are not banned while still having a fairly large impact on the games that they are in.

Lux 54.48% win rate (First place in game) 16% pick rate .16% ban rate Build order I like to use. item 3165 item 3020 item 3285 item 3157 item 3135 item 3089 Can be played into a lot of match ups. Weaker against assassins but you can apply a lot of pressure by roaming half way to other lanes and sniping people with your ult after 6. If you can, try to be more supportive than the main carry, a lux who is 2-0-18 is still very strong. Also make sure to maximize your shield during team fights to get it over as many allies as possible. Try to get them with the cast out and return shield and your team will get a massive boost to durability in team fights.

Malzahar 54.18% win rate (3rd highest in game) play rate 5% ban rate .08% Build order I like to use. item 3027 item 3020item 3151 item 3116 item 3157 item 3089 I actaully prefer malzahar in 3s more so than in 5s, but he is still a very strong wave pusher in 5s. What I normally do is try to farm with auto attacks until level 3 so I can get a 2nd rank into the dot. Then I begin pushing the wave in with superior wave clear. You want to get item 3010 and finish item 3027 as soon as possible. I don't roam very much and prefer to push in the mid tower if my enemy laner roams. Malz is fairly weak to ganks but if you take summoner 7 summoner 4 it can be hard to take you down. In team fights try to optimize your silence, and before you ult someone try to get as many of your other abilities off right before you make the cast on R. This will in most situations guarantee a 100-0 kill.

Nothing you posted was a guide.

Use Doj to beat Lux

Build QSS to beat Mal

That's probably why they aren't used or banned that much.
