How to build Eve

Hey there guys! So I decided to pick Eve back up. I really enjoy playing her but my main problem is my build. I'm not really sure what direction to take with her. Whether to go AP, AD, tanky, or w/e. I've done so many different builds but I can't find which is better. Any tips?

I like building her like a Raid Boss. I'm 90% sure it's not actually too efficient on her, but it's functional and makes sure she scales without being squishy.

Offensive Core: item 3078 item 3153 Defensive Core: item 3110 item 3065 item 3709 item 3047

There is two commonly accepted viable paths.

item 3726 item 3111 item 3153 item 3156 item 3143 item 3026 And (now the reason for devourer is because of the E procing it twice along with your autoattack) item 3707 item 3111 item 3078 item 3153 item 3143 item 3156

You can adapt these however you want. There is a few of us who play her assassin with the recent E change but that style takes A LOT of experience on Eve to perform well with. But hey you wanna try it I'll give it to you.

item 3708 item 3020 item 3115 item 3100 item 3089 item 3157 But I remind you this build is extremely hard to use but you can 2 shot people with it in one q/e.

I like building her as an assassin. I get item 3074 first just for the extra wave clear and sustain then item 3078 and sometimes I build crit and just throw a item 3153 somewhere in there

jungle eve i do warrior enchantment, triforce if ahead into full tank items (skip the triforce for tank items if behind)

I've tried this really strange build; on-hit focused Eve. item 3710 item 3153 item 3078 item 3074 and then defensive items such as item 3102 item 3065 item 3068item 3143 (not in that particular order)

It's about sneaking behind the enemy team with your invisibility, nuking them down with R > Botrk > E > Hydra with double devourer procs and autoattacking/hatespiking them, then abusing Dark Frenzy and your defensive items to escape.

It is all about what you plan to be doing. Full damage (whether AP or AD) is for picking people off / split pushing, while more defensive builds fair better in team fights against more coordinated teams. (against sufficiently uncoordinated teams there is not much difference between picking someone off in the jungle while they are alone and blowing them up when they are in the middle of their team)

I usually go for something like item 3707 item 3111 item 3078 item 3153 item 3143 item 3156 or item 3708 item 3020 item 3115 item 3100 item 3089 item 3157. I will note that I find there to be little difference between the AP and AD jungle items. The AP one gives a somewhat better early power spike (especially since you can get item 3108 sooner than item 3134 ), but the AD one starts getting better once you get other AD items. But the difference after completing them is never huge.

I don't really like devourer, because it lacks CDR. Even if you are building on hits, it is her E that makes on hits good for her.

item 3042 is a fun pick up if the other team is full physical damage so you can build item 3025 & item 3110 and be stupidly hard to kill for how much damage you do.
