What is with the URF community???

So I enjoy playing URF. It's a fun and interesting game mode that allows me to just let loose, and I don't even like playing the OPs everytime. I've played a lot of champs. From Draven to Thresh and Nidalee to Caitlyn. However, what I don't understand is how a mode that is supposed to be a fun and interesting experience, attracts some of the worst and most try-hard competitive people that I have ever seen since starting this game. Attracts the most vile and horrible people ever.

I've had to report someone the last 17 matches I've played in URF... I've been targeted with death threats, seen players claim "ez game" almost a dozen times while playing fizz, and watched as teammates and enemies alike drive down the morale and self-esteem of the players in the game. As far as I know, one of these players has been banned.

Why is this? Why does this non-competitive mode deliver the most hyper-competitive and vile people?

This could also potentially help Riot eliminate some of the horrendous people. Just send in some tribunal or player support members and have them scope it all out.

And now you understand why we don't want URF around 24/7.

Now I have also met my very first scripter. I've been playing League since season 3, I've never seen it so consistently horrible.

Apart from these trash players, ALMOST NO ONE EVER WANTED URF BACK. They were the ones crying the loudest. And now you see why we don't have this as permanent gamemode...

Although... as a permanent mode it would keep the scum out of my ranked games... then at leats it would a positive effect...

In the past, I would use URF mode as a stress test. Using to get an Idea of who's OP. Rather than knowingly picking the OP champs into it.

A potential problem with people now, may actually be the champion mastery system. People may be picking up the OP champs just to get the S rank and unlock a chest. (Especially if said champ isn't OP normally)

For me, this was Malzahar. I just got S rank on AD Malz, so I could get the chest. (But it was also a farewell for me, pending the mage update.)

You have to lane vs eternal spam of the same 20 champs over and over and over and over. A "fun" game mode that is destroyed by the community own spaztic picks.

If I didn't have 2 take a 10 minute break just to decide on who 3 of the 20+ legit broken champs in urf I'm going to ban and not get face fucked, that would be a plus.

Ontop of every 1 playing the same shit, how can u even question how sum 1 is frustrated with a Sona Maokai lane?

Urf is the greatest game mode ruined by the millions of fuck boys who currently ruin league
