Why are people so mean in game? Why can't we all just be nice? (Guide to why you should be nice)

In January, I met a player named samkm. She was an insanely nice player, she had a yellow ribbon that said she lead the team through victories many times. If you are wondering about her honor she has 75 friendly 12 helpful, 80 teamwork and 81 honorable opponent. That is a lot of honor! So please, use these tips I found by conducting expiriments in games of League of Legends: -Say Let's do this! or a positive comment towards your team in the beginning and also glhf (Good Luck! Have Fun!) -Say gj (Good Job!) when someone gets a kill and nice try when they are so close. -If you are in team builder say Welcome! when they join, they will stay 25% more of the time. -Say gg wp (Good game, Well played!) if you win or lose a match. -If you are toxic 50% of the other summoners will normally report you. -If you are nice and follow this, you will get 25% more honor from players -If you are nice and do follow this, normally 1-2 players will start being nice. So if everyone who looks at this follow's this, there will be so many nice players. My goal is 1/5 of the entire summoners who actively play! -YGKB

Why? Here are few reasons for you. (At least why i'v been pissed off)

-Won 9/10 Games up till my promos AWESOME. -Get into 1st game. Our jax apparently doesn't know how to lane vs a nas. Go's 0/5 and nas has 400 stacks at 20 mins. Guess who won? -Second game our bot lane go's 0/8 before 10 mins. That's always a great sign, Guess who won? -Third game, We get a Nid jungle who is doing it because "That's what they did in LCS" Doesn't know what to build, Has never played it before. -Dropped from promos to 55 LP.

Oh and the really fun games. -Player never connected. spend 40 mins struggling to win, Knowing the chances are slim to none.

Sorry that people get mad about shit like that, But i think you would too.

Edit: And since we are talking about honor. -25 friendly. -19 helpful -177 Teamwork. -57 Honorable opponent.

ALL FROM RANKED 99% of the time i'm going to be nice, But if you start feeding nonstop. Don't know how to play the champion YOU PICKED. Or have no understanding of basic mechanics. I'm going to be mad.

I have no idea why anybody downvoted the OP. Yeah, it's naive, but I ask the same question myself. And people keep asking me how come I have the green ribbon - and when I tell them that you need to be nice even when loosing, they say it's impossible.

1 its a competitive esport, so people have much higher expectation then a regular get along Farmville game. 2 knowledge and mechanical skill in this game is big, having proper attitude just doesn't do it. and being ignorant does not appeal to competitive players in a competitive game, so if they see u do dumb things they will call it out.
