Cho'Gath is ridiculous right now.

No, this isn't a salt post saying that I just lost to cho, I just played him for the 2nd time in ranked and It was insanely easy. Why is he allowed to 1 shot squishies with like 12 stacks and a couple of items? In silver nobody is banning him, and he is just broken right now. His e also has way too much utility. Cho is just insanity right now and I feel that riot should look into nerfing him soon, cause this is pure insanity, but I will take my freelo while I can!

Because he is one of the most immobile champions in the game and the skill he uses to get close to you is dodge-able, he needs rightous glory to be mobile but you can still flash away from the slow. I do think the stoneplate interacting with his ult is to much tbh especially considering how much it does with natural health. But it takes 6 more devours to get that many stacks if you feed him that many more you've prolly already lost.

Isn't 12 stacks a lot?

Because gotta make LCS meta changes for flashy plays.

All they have to do is revert his ult back to high AP scaling with no HP scaling, and cap it to 10 stacks.

Boom, we have a normal champ with a cool new E.

I've just been playing trundle.. cho's walk in thinking they can live forever and get melted

Vah Naboris7/29/2017, 10:24:26 PM2 votes

in silver nobody bans any champions who actually need it. they all ban ONE counterpick to their intended and it fucks everything over

sorry but, if cho is at 12 stack, it's normal for him to kill squishies fast with his ult. If he were 1 stack there would be a problem, but if he his fed, no problem at all with it

If cho gaining stack is a problem, then kindred will become a problem too in a near futur, not because she delete squishies, but because she delete tank

I used to play him from time to time seasons ago and had fun. When I saw the latest buffs in patch notes though I was like... wtf. I literally went straight to permabanning him before even seeing him in play since the buffs. I already knew just from reading those patch notes that he was going to be a monster and turns out I was right. Even as a gold 3 nub I could read those patch notes and think "wtf".

Eh, he's not that bad. Stoneplate cheese is a huge threat, but not an unavoidable one, so it's fine.

He is absolutely devastating when he gets his spells off and he ults a priority target, but all that is so unreliable that it's not that OP.

He needs four items minimum (cinderhulk, righteous glory, mercs, stoneplate) to even begin being a threat in teamfights, and that'll run him over ten thousand gold.

If he pops RG, he's a huge threat because of his movement speed and the impending Feast, but his size holds him back here. Cho is big enough that, no matter how good his reactions, he straight up can't dodge most skillshots without flashing, assuming they were aimed in his general direction. This is why Cho prefers Mercs to tabi; he can't avoid CC, so he needs to minimize its impact.

In most situations, all he can do to get his target into his belly is to land rupture on them and hope their allies don't help them, and we all know how easy it is to dodge rupture. His new E makes him pretty sticky, but it relies on him already being in range to hit them.

His kit, then and now, is balanced solely because of his unreliability. He's less unreliable now, but still has enough "Ifs" in his kit that he's not OP.

He's been getting many buffs for multiple patches. He is definitely busted. I just wish the last few batches of buffs didn't go through. I actually want to play him instead of feeling like I'm abusing freelo.

Pfft,I played the new Cho'Gath for the first time on PBE, and despite getting shafted during laning, I farmed up my ulti and eventually started bursting whoever got close to my carry.

Cho'Gath doesn't even need to full nuke squishies to be good, he can just cut over half of a front-liner's HP to let the ADC mow them down faster.

Lux is pretty broken in silver as well. Next time can you make a post about Lux?

Make his ult to no longer work with stoneplate! I really don't understand riot. They destroy tank ekko and then they make a tank(cho'gath) that can just press a button by building full tank and oneshot a squishy and don't say to me that u can kide him. He presses flash and ults u, there is no counterplay. He basicly removes your adc/apc from the fight with a single spell. At least tank ekko was more defficult to play and jesus christ he couldn't one-shot people by building full tank. He dealt and a lot of sustained dmg, but he wasn't like cho'gath now.

I got feasted for 1200 true damage by a Cho as Alistar. My last match my team was wrecking the enemy team up and down. Even Cho died a few times as their jungler. But he just kept jungling, kept feasting on the epic monsters. They turtled for like 20 minutes until Cho was impossible to ignore. I'm Gold, probably bad and don't deserve it, but I went from like 3/1/15 to 4/7/27 during those 20 minutes. We'd pick them off whenever we could but as long as Cho was alive we couldn't end it. Matters made worse of course when Zil would revive him.

He is broken and everyone's complaining about it when you browse the boards. Before this last patch everyone complained about Gargoyle + R and we told Riot that it was stupidly broken. They responded by nerfing his E.

Later that feast damage got higher just the 1200 was the one I remembered from about ten minutes before the end.
