How to Jungle, for those who aren't Diamond
*Disclaimer: This is meant to be comedic (At Lee Sin's expense) and informative. This is also not a tier list and I am not diamond (realized the title might be a bit misleading). *
The new jungle has been hard for all us (Except Lee Sin and a few others) so here's some advice for those who need it.
First, Pick a Champion Below are a list of Champions and play styles that are good in the new jungle.
-
Junglers who make flashy LCS plays.

Pros: Besides being immune to balance (Actually might just be Lee Sin) these junglers can play like it's season 4 farming with practically infinite sustain and high gank up time. These junglers offer high early game pressure with good CC, survivability and damage in the mid to late game. These junglers also offer good invades and are capable of soloing dragon by level 8.
Cons: These highly contested pick or bans so they might not be easy to get. -
Junglers who ignore their team for the first 20 minutes.

Pros: These junglers are late game gods capable of dishing out massive DPS while having above average survivability. These junglers excel at farming and bring utility and damage to a late game teamight.
Cons: These junglers get a lot of hate in solo queue (As 90% laners will blame the jungler for their problems) and will not be well received as laners (Not all but most) think the jungler is their slave (This might originate from Lee Sin being able to both gank and farm). Regardless this isn't really a problem as the mute button exists (Thank you Riot). -
Junglers who slowly get worse, or carry.

Pros: These junglers have a really strong early game being able to gank right off level 2 and have great ganks that offer cc, good gap closing and high early damage. Solo queue laners loves these junglers as all they do is gank.
Cons: These junglers slowly get worse as the game progresses (Unless they snowball in which case the game is theirs). This is because they rely on successful ganks in order to get gold and laners will rage quit if they're taxed so much one creep (This probably 10% of the community). If they are unsucessful and die than they are useless for the remainder of the game (At this point they just to avoid feeding). -
Junglers who are way above average

Pros: These junglers are above average and don't have any noticeable weaknesses and are rarely banned.
Cons: Few if any. -
Junglers who are average

Pros: These junglers are average and don't have any noticeable weaknesses and are rarely banned.
Cons: Most are out classed by another jungler (LCS junglers mostly).
Second, Runes Most junglers require semi-specific runes to work, some more than others (Evelynn).
- The type of Marks is usually preference. The standard choices are Penetration (AD, AP or Hybrid), Attack Speed or Armor marks.
- It is standard to take flat armor seals on most junglers although some do not need (Also known as the pre-twenty junglers).
- Gylphs really come down choice as any pretty much any primary rune works. Cooldown reduction and magic resist are recommended though.
- Quintessences are champion specific. AD Quintessences are for AD casters (Kha'zik), a combination of Life Steal and Attack Speed for AA junglers (Note, Warwick doesn't need the Life Steal), AP quintessences for AP champions who do not need sustain and Spell Vamp for those who need sustain (Evelynn need all the Spell Vamp).
So based off this a rune page for jungling is quite cheap (Hear the sarcasm) going for as high as 16,250.
Third, Vision The new jungle hits like a truck and forces junglers to back every few camps which puts them severely behind the enemy laners and (Note; tanks, farmer junglers and Lee Sin ignore the previous statement). Invades are therefore very easy in this new world and warding is key to survival. Places to ward when jungling are listed below in order of importance.
- Bush behind red as most enemies will pass by that bush (Especially early as losing red means no gank pressure).
- Bushes in the river to prevent the allied team from raging when Dragon or Baron is taken (Also allows them to stop the enemy from taking it).
- The enemy jungle (Because killing the enemy jungler increases the odds of an enemy afking by 12%)
Conclusion Hopefully this helps people jungle (And maybe increases Lee Sin ban rate). If this wasn't enough though (Probably wasn't as ganking was barely mentioned because you either just gank or just farm... or play Lee Sin) the internet has plenty of guides.
Anyway good luck (and ban Lee Sin)
