Trying to learn Shaco

I want to learn Shaco, out of the sheer enjoyment, I hear he has a strong early game so I should be looking to have the game wrapped up before 20mins but what I find really tough and annoying is that often I look at the map and all our lanes are pushed so I am forced to farm farm farm, at which point I have to ask. Why not play say Master Yi instead?

This is just it, some games I totally stomp the enemy when I can get those early ganks, but when my teammates push, I just fall off and have a bad game, so I wonder, what should I be doing if all our lanes are pushed to take advantage of my strong early game?

I would party up with a friend or two. Tell them not to push the lane. Snowball and camp those lanes/ that lane. Farm when you can/ want to.

Helps a lot when your team has hard CC and engage.

Don't be afraid to counter jungle or kill the enemy jungler. ( I like to do a level 2 invade taking smite and ignite).

Use your clone wisely.

Example: I was play Naut support, top lane won lane, mid lost, and bot lane was having issues because adc. A friend playing Shaco and came bot lane quite often. I'd CC the enemy adc to and shaco would clean up. I ended with 8/2/40 Shaco ended with 28/3/12. It took a little while to end because only 3 people on our team did anything.

Tell your teammates that if they allow the enemy to push you will camp them. Shaco stomps lanes because most people rely ONLY on early game trinkets. Take dragon if it is free and not high risk by yourself.

It also depends how much they are pushing, and who your teammate is. If they are in the middle of the lane but your teammate has cc, then gank anyway. Shaco excels at nuking early ganks.

You should counter-jungle the enemy jungler to starve him out of gold&exp and/or kill him and prevent him from being able to effectively gank. If you do this, then it doesn't matter that your lanes are shoved because their jungler isn't in a position to do much about it. It also forces the enemy lanes to choose between collapsing to try and deal with you, or stopping your lanes from taking turret. As long as you use your sneaky sneaky wisely, you can get out of most scenarios.

Post level 6, you can solo dragon pretty easily using the clone to turn dragon around and tank for you. This also makes use of the fact that your team shoved their lanes because there's no one but the jungler you starved out to try and stop you, and a couple of wards will tell you if he's near.

tl'dr If you can't screw over the enemy laners, screw over their jungler instead, His casa es su casa (Ignite/Smite is a good combo for this obviously)

Prep for a countergank, start focusing on the enemy jungler, or go for an early dragon.
It can be hard to gank a pushed lane, but there are many ways to be of some use. just be sure you are keeping up in gold and xp if you can't gank a lot.

Just farm and ward dragon if there's a gank going on just counter it and also you can solo red first camp if you start w and set up the boxes around 0:55. I find this alot of fun, example if it's a sejuani that starts blue you can start blue also then when you set up your boxes around 0:55 and kill blue insted of going to your red you can go to sejuani's red and when she's low you can kill her and steal her red so you get a free red. Hope you win games!! Shaco
