PSA: CC does not effect every champ in the same way

As someone who doesn't main Yi or Kat I see a lot of people whinge and moan they have no counter play

To which the rational reply is 'Hard CC them'

Only for this to be ignored to the shrill cries of 'OMG NOOO, NOT FAIR CC COUNTERS EVERY CHAMP NO COUNTERPLAY'

CC does not effect every champ to the same degree and by effect, I mean the level to which CC harms that champion.

If someone blows all their CC on Mundo, his huge sustain and tankiness means that he will almost certainly survive allowing his carries to ace the other team. CC doesn't counter Mundo, the fact he forced the enemy to blow their CC on him, is a sign he knows what he's doing. CC does counter Yi, Yi does a tonne of damage, but if you stun him, you can kill him in 1 second thus forcing a 4v5 in your favour at only the expense of your cooldowns, which I assure you, take less time to recover than it takes for Yi to respawn and return to lane.

I hope you have all learned something and maybe try a little less salt next time.
