I've played support so much that I...

Have issues with carry roles. When it comes to jungle top and support I can play them pretty well, because from the beginning of my league carrer, it's what I've played. My friend, who's alot better at this game than I am, plays adc, and I've literally based my whole playstyle on someone else carrying, because any game I play with him, he's carrying. And now, when it comes to mid or adc, I suck, and I just can't seem to improve in these positions (if you want a reference on how bad I am, it's been months since I've had an under-10 death game in mid or adc). Any advice on this?

Bro...I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I can usually do passably okay with mid, but otherwise exact same situation as you. My last game, I got stuck as adc and I went 0/1/7.

I was playing Support and Jungle for so long, I cant even lasthit properly any more... I had to ADC lately, my farm sucked so hard, the local homosexual bar knocked on my door to ask if its allowed to come out and play...

Try taking some of your support champs into the mid lane. Karma and Morgana are perfect for this. The whole "utility mage" thing works quite nicely in my experience. But if you want more traditional champion suggestions try Lux, Annie, Vladimir, Swain and Ziggs in that role.

Basically, keep trying. It took time for you to learn jung/top/supp.... you have to give yourself time to learn the other roles, too. It might help to look up coaching videos for mid/adc to improve your playstyle. And make sure you can last hit well, at least.

Yeah, I have the same/similiar problem. Well, not as extreme. Since I started League, I mained support. First Soraka, the Janna, and then Nami. Who I still main to this day. I started playing in season 3, but it wasn't until mid season 4 I tried to learn new roles. I started with ADC, and quite frankly, I was terrible. Bad at last hitting, bad at positioning, bad at well everything. After practicing a looooot I'm finally at the point where I can win lane and have 80 CS at 10 minutes. My team fighting and positioning still isn't great, but... Still practicing. In lane you have to learn how to balance farming with poking or trading with your enemy laner(s). I can't say much about anything else, cause i suck too. Just keep practicing. When you get at least the basics down in normals and can somewhat win lane or be at least 0/1 or 0/0 after landing phase, then you're good. Practice farming too. At least 60 CS by 10 minutes. I can't really help that much, but I hope this helps somewhat...

Keep trying if you have an interest in playing carry roles.

All other lanes have picks that are more utility-oriented and might be more intuitive for you to pick up, such as Orianna mid, Maokai top, or Ashe ADC.
