Hello!

I've been playing league since the beginning of the year, and I've been slowly improving. I watched video after video, stream after stream, read guide after guide and eventually, I got fairly okay skill. Eventually, I started ranked and managed to get placed in s5, which I was very happy with. I survived there for a bit, but at some point, I just started to suck. I fell down the ladder, and now I'm in b3. No matter how hard I try, now matter what positions I do, no matter how much practice I have, I just can't seem to improve or climb, I'm worse than I am now than I was 2 months ago...

Is there any tips for Improving, climbing, and learning that could be given? League just seems so impossible for me now...

It just takes LOTS of practice. Personally I got to a point where I thought I was pretty good, but once I realized I wasn't good yet, I was able to improve a lot more. It kind of goes in stages. You first get down mechanics. Then you start developing better map awareness. Then you start understanding champion strengths and weakness. Etc and so forth. If you watch the Challenger streams, it's really amazing how much info they take in at a glance when looking at the champion screen when they hit tab. They look for like 2 seconds and boom they have it. Same with the store, they already know what they are getting and they leave as soon as they are in fountain.

Just keep working on your game and learning. You will eventually start moving up. It's just that a lot of people want instant gratification and that doesn't happen in this game.

Step 1:finish your rune pages. tier 3 step 2: get more, fill those in. step 3: profit

Continue practicing and maybe you'll polish your mechanics/skills and begin to climb. After a whole season or so and you are still in the same rank either accept that you are where you belong or just dramatically change your gameplay.

Last hitting is probably the most simple first step to doing well. Practice last hitting in a custom, it can help you out a bunch. I know because im a support main, and i am terrible at last hitting. It puts you at a noticeable disadvantage. Practicing one role also really helps. While being flexible is good, if your a jack of all trades, your the master of none. Map awareness is huge. realizing where your team is and what they are doing, and realizing where the enemy team is, and more importantly, isnt, really helps. Try to do your best to work with your team. Try to figure out who are your team is doing best, and help them try to do better. If you are doing best, try to help your team with your advantage. Look up videos on snowballing your lead. Always remember Towers>Baron>Dragons>kills. There is some flexibility to it, but remember that objectives are what your playing for, not kills.
