are my mains and im fairly good at last hitting minions but the problem im having is that no enemy im laning against ever just focuses on last hitting, they consistently attack minions as fast as they can and it forces me to play that game as well causing me to miss a lot of minion kills, sometimes more than they are. what do you players do when the opposition does this? I wish everyone would just do it the lcs way and let the minions do the work then get a hit in for the gold or use your ability mechanics to take out multiple minions at once but no one in normal or bronze does it.

if they are making you miss minions and getting cs, they are doing it right. you just have to practice csing since you can attack the wave and get the last hits still.

The reason that you see pro players more or less ignore minions until the last hit is because a well-coordinated team can easily punish a pushed lane. In your own games, players aren't worried about being ganked the second they push the lane and overextend, because most players aren't aware enough to coordinate their timing that well.

So when your opponent comes to lane and immediately starts attacking minions and pushing the wave, you have two choices. Either start pushing the wave yourself if you want to freeze the lane in the middle, or let the enemy push up to your tower and alert your jungler that a gank opportunity is around the corner.

Practice shoving the lane while keeping your CS up.

If they are close, and I see the enemy hitting minions, I'll swat at them a few times. They usually back off For a few seconds at a time.

I would say one important thing you can do is focus your counter-pushing on the enemy caster minions, as your minions will attack the enemy melee minions first. This way, you won't have any minions taking your cs (The little guys are greedy you know). This is particularly easy with Caitlyn and Twitch
