How does my champ roster look?

Before I begin seriously pursuing ranked play in S5 (Having no luck with it right now, I tried my provisionals yesterday and for some reason I have high ping ONLY when I do ranked games. And I'm talking 1000 ping high) I was giving thought to my roster of champions I'll mostly work on. By now I have nearly all of the ones I have named and am giving mostly even time to practicing with them. I've heard 3 champs per position is a good number so that's what I've been shooting for. Please provide constructive criticism or thoughts, and thanks in advance :)

Top: Irelia - Main top. She's got the kit to handle most matchups well, given careful play, and she can turn the tables on even ranged tops later on. All that's left to be seen is how bad the inevitable nerfing will be given she was used in worlds and Morello probably won't stand for the thought of her being viable in high-end play. Ryze - Ap top. Mostly I take him into lanes where I know the enemy can't bully me too hard, or I can abuse the occasional top that gets kited easily, or my team is too AD heavy. To be fair, the second type of top rarely happens, and the third isn't going to be an issue as often due to how hard it is to itemize defensively against Irelia. Maokai - Heavy tank. If my team is looking too squishy or lacking in cc, or I don't favor my chances with either Irelia or Ryze.

Mid: Ahri - Main mid. She's the champ I've used the most and I've gotten to the point that I rarely lose lane against her. Syndra - More geared for teamfight utility, or if the enemy comp is looking like it might be difficult to do my job as Ahri, or if the enemy chooses a top like Azir that Syndra can casually blow to pieces. Or if Ahri is taken, it happens XD Zed - Ad mid. Mostly I'll be focusing on him when my team is too Ap-heavy, but that happens more rarely and Ahri feels safer at assassination jobs than Zed does.

Jungle: My only jungle that I've practiced with is Elise, and I'm reasonably comfortable with her. She rarely gets picked or banned so the worst I have to fear is my own team getting angry with me for making an off-meta pick (Yes, Rito, she's not in meta anymore. Your nerf barrage did their job too well). I'm waiting to see the effects on the S5 jungle changes before I make decisions here.

Support: Nami - Main support. She's Nami. She only does everything and works with any adc in the game. I only hope she doesn't suffer too badly under Morello's anti-healing crusade. Leona - Offensive support, for when my team/adc needs engage. I'll probably switch her out for Thresh when I can finally get a good feel for him. Janna - Defensive support, for when my team needs peel. I learned the hard way from battling good Jannas that she can make reaching enemies *annoyingly *tough.

ADC: Lucian - Main adc. He's pretty solid all around, decently strong in lane and very strong later on if he gets ahead. Corki - Anti-armor adc, for when the enemy is looking armor-heavy. I know that Kog and Vayne fill this role as well as he does, but he looks a bit more reliable to use. Cait/Jinx - Haven't fully decided which girl just yet, but either way she'll end up being my fallback adc if Lucian gets picked or banned, or, in Cait's case, when my opponent picks an adc/support comp I can more easily bully.

Okay, that's all :D Tell me what you think!

While your top lane picks are clearly strong, they are also a bit lacking and are wildly different. I would personally suggest picking one of them and finding other champions with a similar but not equal style. It's always possible to simply learn champions, but I find it easier to have a champion pool where all champions involved have similar qualities. Here are my suggestions.

Irelia: Wukong, Jax, Jarvan, Pantheon Ryze: Kayle, Jayce, Vlad, Yorick Maokai: Shyvanna, Zac, Malphite, Skarner

If you are able to play all of those champions on a decent level already, you should be totally fine starting in ranked. Only thing to worry about is counter picks, so if you can expand your pool even more, that will always help.

just pick one champion regardless of lane or matchup. guaranteed winz
