@RiotKateyKhaos: Why does Ahri only get cutesy skins?

Don't get me wrong, skins like Arcade, Academy, and Popstar are pretty neat and fun to see, but I feel like you guys are seriously missing out on some cool angles with Ahri's skin lineup. The creatures she's based on are notable for being completely f***ing vicious and evil if crossed, and with her backstory and presentation in Stray Fox (where she goes from not wanting to kill people to being willing to viciously and remorselessly kill people that endanger her or her countrymen) there's a lot of room for you guys to explore darker skin concepts for Ahri, like ones that present her as more of a demonic fox specter, kinda like what Elsword does with Eun and her host Ara.

I agree, there is too much fanservice. It doesnt have to be all bouncy boobs and stuff.

The problem is that they specifically chose Korean's variant of Nine Tail Fox myth, who is entirely about wandering around in the forest seducing unsuspecting victims (usually little boys if I'm not wrong) with their appearances and consuming them or just their vital organs, while Chinese version and the Japanese variant involve far more dynamics and shades than just that; which they for some reason avoided to use when she was still on the drawing board.

In the Chinese and Japanese folklores, fox spirits could be either male, female or gender-neutral; their general alignment could be either good, evil or neutral; and they enjoy the statuses from random mindless monsters, to intelligent entities that live among humans or their own, and all the way up to become local deities of some sort. That would make for far better material to work skins with.

Unfortunately they went with the most appearance dependent and sexually oriented version of the fox spirit myth, and the result is well, Ahri and her mostly cutesy or beauty focused skins.

most of Ahri's skins are meant to show how beautiful she is (Arcade, Popstar and Academy are some examples) since Ahri is a Kitsune (based on the Korean myth)

also Challenger kind of fits the theme of "darker side"
