A Fun Beginner Jungler

Who is a good beginner jungler that is fun to play? I'm looking for a jungler that's easy to learn but doesn't have a boring playstyle like Warwick.

Edit: probably should have mentioned this, these are the champs I own that can jungle, Chogath(he's my top main) Khazix Maokai MasterYi Nocturne RekSai Sion Skarner Udyr

IMHO, Xin is probably the single easiest champion in the game. He has a pretty fun jungle with lots of ganks and potential counter jungle. Start q, auto q auto, then w for sustain in jungle. After 2 buff you should be looking for bank.

MasterYi XinZhao Vi are very simple champions that can be very effective junglers; i used to play Xin a lot, and he has some of the best early ganks in the game. For what it's worth, Vi is the champion that got me started trying to jungle in the first place.

MasterYi

You're going to get a lot of shit from enemy team when you roll them, but don't listen. Yi is easy to learn but has very high skillcap.

First, thank you for not wanting to pick Warwick, in the current meta he's a horrible jungler and should never be played. As for the ones you listed.

Chogath - He can be effective, but you'll end up farming quite a bit before you appear in lanes. Most people lane with him as he is good there, and doesn't really gank well. [no gap closer and slow speed normally]

Khazix - He's an ambush jungler. He can be extremely good if you succeed in ganking, but his clears in the jungler aren't great and he has no built in sustain. Exciting if you like jumping in on enemy teams

Maokai - Not the most popular tank jungler, but a good one. His clears take a bit of time to get down, but his built in sustain is nice and he comes with a full kit (slow, knockback, root, gap closer and AOE damage reduction/damage). I play him and enjoy his style.

MasterYi - I don't care for him as a jungler, but some people love him. He can sustain well in the jungle, but he's very squishy compared to most junglers which puts him at a disadvantage in the current meta.

Nocturne - I don't know much about him other than the fact that I rarely see him.

RekSai - great mobility, some sustain from her passive and a nice AS steroid. But squishy compared to the more popular tank junglers. Can be very good, but takes practice and a good team to work with.

Sion - His early clears are painfully slow, but some people have made him work. I'd leave him as a laner.

Skarner - I almost never see him, but when I do its usually someone who does very well on him. He's a bit squishy compared to some, but his ult can be a killer. I'd say he's a bit tricky to play though.

Udyr - the current meta is very unfriendly to him and he ends up being nothing except a splitpusher late game. He lacks a good teamfight presence. Udyr is a jungler I don't like seeing on my side as too often he just can't help the team late. He ganks well early and has good sustain, so he might work for you.

Amumu I know you didn't mention owning him, but he's cheap. And he's a great teamfighter. A lot of beginners tend to pick assassins so its good to learn a nice initiator to shut down the opposing assassins and set up your teammate assassins.

Plus cinderhulk is OP right now and it works great on amumu.

Nocturne was mine

he has some polarized gameplay though either win hard or lose hard

Udyr is fun if you don't just sit and farm all game. He's really versatile in how you can build him: Full AD, AD Bruiser, AP Tank, and recently I've been trying magic damage on hit + attack speed (item 3710 item 3091 item 3078 item 3153 item 3020 ) and it works really well, I'm currently on a 7 game winstreak with it.

No love for Nunu? After Cinderhuld jungle item and RoA he is beast. If behind just build pure tank and still be a force to be reckoned with. He also clears the jungle and drag really quick because of his Q.

Master Yi. Very easy to learn, can clear the entire jungle at level 1, and is fun to play.

MasterYi

easy to play, but skillcap is decently high. Basic play: farm, then press R, E, then press Q onto an enemy carry. To get mechanically good, you need low ping and fast reflexes to do alpha strike jukes. Until you can dodge Malphite ults with Alpha Strike under enemy turret, kill Malphite, reset Alpha strike, then alpha strike to a minion to escape death at the last second right before the turret shot hits you and reset aggro, you haven't hit Yi's skillcap. Then there's the whole question of strategic play with Yi (when to splitpush and when to group, how to play from behind, how to snowball a lead) that's a question in itself.
