i had an island moment in top lane fairly recently. i was minding my own business when i look over and realize our lulu is legendary and i'm like wtf when did this happen.
If I can, I sign an official armistice with the enemy top laner.

had a game where there was sion shen top, game went on about 40 minutes. I think they went to one tf each, and neither outer turret was destroyed and no one got a kill and neither jg ganked..... i forgot they were there.

I fucking love it when this happens. One time it got to a point where we got along so well, we started to tip off eachother every time our respective junglers and/or teammembers where coming for ganks.
And the feeling when you get flamed for not helping your team when thanks to you the game is a 4vs4 is priceless.

I had a vs 
lane once (with me as Sion). I knew it would be a race against time for him, so I just farmed and pushed until one of the junglers showed up, but he was just interested in farming minions and harassing too, and our shenanigans went on until my team had lost every tower outside of the base except for the two top turrets. I felt pretty good about holding so long and getting a good health bonus, but had to break it up when my team panicked and called for me.
Ultimately we won, but if they didn't call for me we may have lost our base too and those top towers would have still been up.
LOL! I was browsing hours ago and chuckled at this. I just got out of a game, I was top(wukong) against a gangplank. enemy Jinx was 6/0/0 by 7 minutes.
I immediately thought of this post, had to log in and comment.
I had this happen, since my match up was: (me) & (enemy)
I added the guy half way through on Skype and we called a truce not to kill each other till team fights broke out. It was like fighting with a pool noodle against him, and vice versa. Of course I got no help and Nasus got enough stacks; saying it's my fault when I couldn't do damage to him in the first place.
That's why I mute the announcer. ^^
