If a Support refuses to buy a sight stone (or ward in general), constantly pushes lane, and takes CS, what is the best work around as an ADC? Should I invest in the sight stone myself and just try to get the CS that I can? Or should I just let the Support take half the CS and try to get them fed (this usually happens when its some kind of AP support, Nid, Sona, etc).

Just curious what the best way to work with a support like this is. I usually try to just adapt to how my team mates are playing, but I find myself extremely behind in this situation so I'm curious what I can do to make things go better for everyone as an ADC. Thanks.

Buy 1 ward, if you're on blue side, ward the brush in the river, if you're on red, ward the tribrush, then push with your support and take the tower ASAP. After you take it, roam mid and take that tower. There's very little point to fighting for cs and if your support is pushing the lane and not letting you farm, you need to take towers and group early instead to make up for the lost gold income. Look for opportunities to take dragon as well while you're mid, and be sure to let your jungler know of your intentions so he's ready to help you at mid or at dragon.

First off, communication is key. Make yourself out to be kind towards them, thank them for helping and politely ask them to stop taking CS/Kills and pick up a sightstone. If they refuse, I'd suggest buying a pink and two vision wards every here or there, but there's no need to waste an item slot on sightstone. Lastly if the support refuses to communicate with the team, report them afterwards and move on. If this is a pattern that happens literally every game, maybe you step up and call support yourself to get the job done, or call a different lane. But that's really all the advice I can provide

Thanks for the advice. This isn't a regular thing in my experience, but it happened 2 or 3 times recently when I played so I just found myself curious what the best option was.

I did try politely asking, but its usually just met with rage or "l2P, you don't need all the cs", so after that I just try to stop talking and do my best where I can. I've seen people get toxic over it, and then the support just tower dives to feed relentlessly, so I stay away from that, lol.

I actually play Support quite a bit, but oddly enough the people that did this called support so I didn't think anything of it. My main questions were answered though, I'll just do what I can and ward myself with a pink and couple vision wards.

One more question if you don't mind: If I have a support like this on my team and I am in the jungle, would it hurt me to buy the sight stone as a jungler? Assuming I'm playing a Off tank/fighter type jungle. I always try to keep a pink and my trinket to ward where I can, but I was thinking as a fighter jungle, the health on the sight stone might not hurt me as much taking up an item slot?

Well that's a good question. It really depends on who you're playing. If you're Lee Sin or Jax, a sightstone not only provides visions and bonus tankiness, but it also provides and escape in sticky situations; (i.e. 3v1 situation, ward over nearby wall and Q/W to it depending on if you're Jax or Lee Sin.) If you're a tank jungler or a fighter like Maokai, Amumu, Udyr, Jarvan, or Malphite, it's certainly not out of the question. However if literally no one is warding, I would take it upon myself to get the sightstone. Lastly we have the damage junglers; Fiddlesticks, Xin Zhao, Fiora (PS don't play Fiora she's trash), Kha'Zix, or Rengar, I wouldn't suggest it. All you have to do is buy wards on a consistant basis. But yeah, that's basically it. Good luck on the rift!
