Must Buy Champions! (5.2)
These are the must buy champions for each positions right now. hope it helps! This is kinda from a noob who doesn't play in ranked yet, but researches and knows the game
Top Lane:
1st Recommendation:
Oh Malphite, how much power he has. Waay too much, with only a few weak matchups and great CC Malphite is currently one of the best choices if you would like to go in top lane.
2nd Recommendation:
Jax does not mess around. He is harder to play, yet he is very bad with early and mid game, yet can rise late game, but if you can use him right, you will find a great champion.
3rd Recommendation:
A lot of people are going to hate this pick but I feel Singed has an amazing moveset accompanied with Thornmail, Warmogs Armor, and Rod of Ages, you have a very powerful champion.
Beginner's Recommendation:
Malphite again, he has such a simplistic and easy to learn moveset so he is a nice starting point for anybody who is new to the top lane or just League of Legends.
I would also like to mention to Irelia, Riven, and Gnar.
Jungle:
1st Recommendation:
Pantheon is an amazing pick at this point, he has a nice top lane game, yet his jungling is unreal. Once he gets Grand Skyfall (his ultimate) he can be easily the best ganker in the game.
2nd Recommendation:
Rengar just has so much pure power. He has everything for a great jungler. He was so close to first yet I just think you should buy Pantheon before rengar, yet he is about equally as good as Pantheon.
3rd Recommendation:
Kha'Zix has a lot of attack power. His ganks are also great but he does not mess around once he has his ult, I feel he doesn't deserve to be on Pantheon and Rengar's level because of how easily he dies, if you master him like me however, you will destroy everyone in your path.
Beginner's Recommendation:
Warwick is also a nice jungler with great ganks, he is also pretty simple comapred to other junglers and deserves recognition.
I would also like to mention Lee Sin, Jarvan IV, and Master Yi.
Mid Lane:
1st Recommendation:
Katarina mid lanes like a boss. She hardly has any cons right now, but she is so strong in mid lane and can gather millions of kills.
2nd Recommendation
Ahri has gotten some nerfs yet she remains a powerful champion. She is a bit harder to use than before, but she can still do a great job in the mid lane.
3rd Recommendation:
LeBlanc has had her ups and downs yet currently she is an up. she has a lot of control over the mid lane yet can have some mana problems in the begining, aswell as last hitting problems
Beginner's Recommendation:
Annie is a great place for starters, she is all around annoying if she is against you, yet amazing if she is you.
I would also like to mention Twisted Fate, Fizz, Lux, and Yasuo
AD Carry:
1st Recommendation:
Kalista is insanely powerful right now, she is in need of a debuff but she doesn't have one so she is the best right now.
2nd Recommendation:
Quinn is another insanely powerful champion. She has all the traits of a good champion and should be the best if Kalista wasn't OP.
3rd Recommendation:
Lucian has been titled with overpowered before and still remains one of the royal op AD carries to this date.
Beginner's Recommendation:
With the tweaks to Tristanna she is better than ever and can play a nice AD carry role and I would put her on the list if ADs were less powerful, and she also has practically no learning curve
I would also like to mention Jinx, Graves, and Corki
Support:
1st Recommendation:
If you want to play support, Janna is up and running as probably one of the best supports out there and will make your ad carry thank you.
2nd Recommendation:
Braum is the Frejlord amazing support guy and can use his great moveset to assist any AD carry.
3rd Recommendation:
Thresh has very nice all around strength as a support and makes a nice addition to any team.
Beginner's Recommendation:
Sona has some nice abilities and she her easy to use for people new to the support role.
I would also like to mention Blitzcrank and Leona
Hope this helped! -YGKB
Sorry that I lack in the supports, I know what's good yet it is hard to describe them.
