I Never Get A Kill During Ganks

Whenever I gank a lane, I make sure that the enemy is more than half way across the lane, has at most 3/4 HP and has used their escape spells (if they have any). But when I actually gank the lane they always escape, they don't burn summoners and I don't kill the other laner if it's bot lane.

How do I make sure that I will help my team when I gank? I have done some successful ganks before but they're becoming less and less common now. I used to main jungle in s4 but now I stay as far away as possible from it as I'll probably fail my ganks and have no assists. I don't mind if my teammates get the kill, I just actually want the enemy to die.

I used to play Elise in the jungle, but now whenever I play her jungle we get stomped. Now I play whoever my team needs the most in the jungle. I normally choose from Rek'Sai, Jax or Kha'Zix.

A good idea is to not use your gap closer/cc straight away. It's a noob trap to say, run into lane as J4 then E-Q-W because now if you dont immediately burst them down, they're probably going to flash back to safety. If you're patient, you should just walk up to them as J4, W to slow them, then if they burn a flash you E-Q and they're up in the air with nothing left. Also if youre ganking with a melee champ, make sure you auto the laner, move ahead of them, auto, repeat.

It's not a guaranteed way to get a kill ,but it is pretty effective, and certainly more effective than just walking in. Also, if you can manage it, gank from behind, not from the brush. Unless it's Katarina/Talon or someone who can insta jump behind you, it's always a better option.

Make sure the laner knows what you're doing. Otherwise that gank ain't working. Also make sure your laner has decent health in case the opposing jungler is nearby.

Elise is not really viable right now. Rek'Sai may be the strongest jungler right now, she is at least in the top 3. If you want to have effective ganks, make sure you choose a jungler with some easy to land CC. Vi, WW, Maokai all have point and click CC that will lock down the opponent.

As for actually ganking, make sure you use a pink ward or sweeper on the bush you will be ganking from. That way you will know if the have a ward there and not to waste your time. Also make sure your teammate has health AND mana otherwise you are going to probably be doing a 1v1 or 2v1 bot and that isn't good. If you get a flash or other summoner used by the enemy, it's a successful gank. Just go back to the jungle, clear a camp, and then come back and you can probably get a kill.

Also keep in mi d WHO you are ganking vs who you use as a jungle. generally speaking i never gank leblanc or katarina because it is extremely easy for them to escape.

I mostly use volibear in the jungle mainly because his early game ganks are easy unless your team shoves really hard. Trick with volibear is to walk in from behind them using no skills. Auto them amd use your roar to slow them, they usually flash after the roar out of panic. At this point you Q and flip them back towards your own tower and should now have 3 stacks of frenzy for an execute.

Bonus: as long as the enemy laner does not have ignite you can gank even at 35% or so hp if you are careful due to your passive.

I dont use your specific champs so i cant really offer much for them sorry.

I Jungle with Nidalee, you hit with your spear and you have zero problem gap closing on them
