Right now, I have:
9 Magic penetration Marks 9 Armor Seals 3 Mana Glyphs & 6 Magic Resist Glyphs 3 Mana Quintessences
But if you Ryze mains have any other type of rune sets, please, lemme know. Now I would try to replace the magic penetration marks to ability power marks, is that a good idea?
MS quints, flat armor seals , hybrid pen marks, flat armor glyphs unless you know you're against ap top, in that case take 9 mr glyphs.
I don't play a whole lot of Ryze but you definitely want Magic Pen or Hybrid Pen reds due to his semi-low AP ratios. Mana quints help his early game but I think Movement speed is better overall since you can't do much if you can't reach opponents with Ryze's short range.
9 hybrid pen reds, 9 health or armor seals, 9 magic resist glyphs, 3 movespeed quints
