Tips on playing Syndra?

So, Syndra is one of my favorite champions, and actually one of the first I've bought. Although I'm fairly good with her, and I've been doing alright on her combos and skill shots, I want to improve with her. I've read up on a lot about her, and I usually mid with her (Obviously). I'm just looking for some people that have some experience with Syndra and could possibly help me out and give some tips.

First, she's VERY squishy, and her means of escape are a bit weak. I'm not sure what to do when I need to go down mid but nobody else is there, and since I'm so slow and squishy, I'm easy to gank. There's been plenty of times when my team was separated elsewhere (And I have nowhere else to go really), and I needed to keep pushing more down mid, and I get ganked. Any just general tips on this sort of thing? Also I need help in team fight placements. Just that sorta thing.

Second, can anyone tell me any tips on her skill-shots? (Specifically her Q+E stun) Whenever I'm being chased, or just in general I find it hard to hit the stun just right.

Besides that, any other tips and advice on playing Syndra would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

tip: treat syndra like an adc.

she is squishy so you need someone to peel for her. also, when you play mid, never push without warding first. its a great thing you recognized her weaknesses as being vulnerable to ganks so only thing you can do is avoid ganks with vision. rest u got your E and W to buy you some time for escape. this was the laning phase.

in teamfights stay in the back line. yndra aint like liss or malz that she cud initiate. just keep poking the enemy from your q-e, also if sum1 is flanking, you stun them and avoid it. when your adc and fighters have done damage to some of them then choose your target and go all ult on him/her only and stay back.

you may know half of these things but the point i wanna make is to play safe and do what you do best- poke/burst cheers :)

You can get better with Syndra by not playing her until Riot hopefully reverses the crippling nerfs they destroyed her with.

I've never played her, so I can't help you with her skill shots or spells. One thing I can say is though, don't take her into a Diana mid lane matchup. She counters you hard, and can burst you down quick. As I am a Diana main, I know. Just so you can avoid playing against her. Only way you can win against a Diana, is if that player is absolutely horrid at playing or you and your jungler make a good play.
