Can't gank for shit? Too many lanes and not enough time? Rather be power farming jungle? I got you m8, challenjour strats right here...

Step 1. Tell your laners to not engage, this is crucial.. you dont wanna bait them for whats to come (or rather what doesnt come) Step 2. Walk into lane, or if the bush is warded, that works too Step 3. Stay for like 1.5 seconds before walking back into the jungle ??? Step 4. Profit

Wow, that sounds completely pointless! Well, the next time you see the enemy jungler in your bush or walking into your lane you're just gonna stand there and wait for him to kill you eh? nope, you pack your shit and fuck off as fast as you can.

This is the result you as the jungler can easily recreate by walking into lane DOING FUCKING NOTHING, and just leave. Not every "gank" has to be a fight you just gotta threaten their safety and they will be infinitely less oppressive to your laner if they THINK you're around

now do this frequently enough while mixing in some ACTUAL ganks and you just got yourself some global pressure

le edits: morning, I can see many people dont share the same experience I have lol that's fine ;x

it just works out for me as the laner/jungler 2lazy to respond to all comments

Ever tried to gank bot lane? but they got sightstone so it's all warded ever notice how everyone just backs off once they see you in the bush? how can you say that doesnt help?

This actually makes sense xD

basic concept is rather valid, you don't have to engage to create pressure.

Except that really doesn't work as well it would seem.

Free information on the whereabouts of one jungler allows the other one to make plays somewhere else. You need to doing "more" than the other jungle in the same time frames you are given. If I see an enemy jungler go down bot and show that means I can aggressively turret dive top/mid without worry of a counter gank simply because you "showed" bot.

Or other lanes can aggressively do risky things because they know that they wont get ganked with enemy jungler "showing" somewhere else.

This is incorrect.

All this gets you is 1.5 seconds of pressure in a single lane, and nothing more. If your enemy doesn't have wards to drop and doesn't have whatever bush youre standing in warded, then maybe youll get a few more seconds of pressure in that one lane, sure, but the other lanes will know theyre 100% safe to do whatever they want.

The only real way to create global pressure as a jungler is to play a champ with a global ult or somewhat global ult like Rek'Sai or Pantheon.

If I'm playing a champ that has a stealth or ranged attack, I harass them a little bit then run back into the jungle, (unless I know we can get the kill).

People really think this is good advice? The way I understand it there's two big advantages of having a jungler:

  1. Team gets more total gold because jungler can farm
  2. Element of surprise (ganks)

By "showing presence" in lane you lose both these advantages. You don't get the gold/xp you'd get from farming and all the other lanes know where you are so they might be able to get an objective without having to worry about you.

How is this for an idea to increase global pressure: use the buff you get from smiting ravens. Just walk into the river and clear any wards you see. If they haven't warded, you can gank. If they have warded, they know you're looking to gank lanes and their ward has just been destroyed forcing them to play more passive. Also get the sweeper and a pink ward early. But doing this without the goal to clear wards or without the goal to actually gank is wasting your time and safety.

The only times that just walking into lane without it being a gank is useful is if:

  1. You have to protect a tower
  2. your laner is getting zoned out of gold/xp completely
  3. Your laner isn't there and you can mop up the cs
