If you can get a ward over there without them knowing and they didn't defensively ward properly, you can just sit back and let them hand you level 2. Know they can do the same thing to you, so always make sure they didn't sneak into your jungle and ward the camp you start on! Some junglers will be crippled by this, and if the ADC was going to take it you'll have an even bigger advantage in lane because of their lost health.

People ward against invades often though, so getting out of your base as fast as possible and seeing where they go is important.

Most people drop their trinket ward around 45 seconds to 1:15. That means it expires around 1:45 to 2:15. If they trinket before 0:55 and you see them place the ward, while your ADC goes to lane the support can walk up at 50-55 seconds to disrupt their gromp/krugs.

Just be careful because if the jungler is starting bot side (most do) they may choose to go after you and abandon the camp. You can then lead them on a wild goose chase and really mess with them, but watch out for a midlane collapse since they'll be hitting level 2 pretty shortly.

But yeah I love doing those crazy invades when I support. I've actually stolen gromp from junglers who early smite by hitting a Q over the wall as morgana and other crazy stuff before. It's hilarious because nobody ever really expects it and it's actually surprisingly safe to do as long as you keep eyes on the enemy mid.
