Diana is great at killing people and initiating fights but terrible at escaping fights so if you go in at the wrong time GG.

can snowball super hard, tanky versus assassins but deletes them at the same time. if you can land your Q you 100-0 targets easy.

Pretty much what everyone has already said. You'd be jumping in killing someone and hoping to god that your team gets in their to save you while Zhonya's wears off.

she is good but depends on the match up mid she is fine in the jungle. She is good against assassins mostly except yasuo cause well its fuckin yasuo lol

I think she is decent and getting fed on Diana is super fun because you get to nuke everyone and everything.

BUUUUUUUUUT

Keep in mind she is weak pre 6. If your lanes lose before you have your ult, they are on their own.

Yes, she is my favorite champion. Off-tank assassin with high burst and a little CC (her slow on E). She snowballs well and dominates just about any mid laner there is. The bad-she's awful against tanks and has no escapes.

Also one of the most balanced champions out there right now.

Diana can be a great pick IF you're into the whole "I'm diving you and one of us is dying" concept. She's the type of champ that you basically pick your target, dive them, and hope like hell you win(since you have very little options for disengage). She can be built as an off-tank(AP Bruiser), as a pure burst assassin, or as a sustained DPS fighter, so she's really quite flexible.

As a midlaner, she's a decent pick but lane phase is often hellish before level 6. Same for toplane, though slightly less viable as she has trouble with the tankier picks up there.

As a jungler, she can be built as a bursty assassin with an early powerspike(Rune Glaive), or she can be built as a sustained DPS duellist with a later powerspike(Devourer). Which way you go should really depend on the team you're facing. 3 Tanks over there? Build the Devourer, Nashors, BotRK(But she's AP! Yeah, I know, it should almost never be built on her, but it WILL shred tanks in a devourer build). 5 Squishies? Build the Runeglaive and blow them up.

My main tip, if you decide to try her - You're not as squishy as you think you are, probably. I tended to treat her more like an Akali, when really she's significantly tougher to kill in a straight duel.

If you wanna do well with Diana, you have to have that mentality of you either go in and kill everyone around you or you fucking die. Stay in and get off as many autos as possible with item 3115 or item 3100. Depending on what you prefer.

diana one of the best if not the best assassin in the game right now. assassins tho, not the best class.

Diana is EASILY the most OP assassin right now. She does insane damage and is as tanky as a bruiser.

Diana has awesome snowball potential and works really well as a jungle or mid lane assassin. Just keep in mind that she has a weak laming phase before level 6 (which is why some people take her jungle)

She can be really good at killing squishy targets in team fights but her escape options are limited (think Akali, but tankier with slightly less burst).

TL;DR Yes.

She can be played in mid or jungle. She is weak before level 6 which is why I prefer to play her in the jungle. As a mid laner she can be a good counterpick but I wouldn't first pick her.

Her real strength is her mid game. Her burst in 1v1 and 2v2 situations is insane and her gap closer is one of the best in the game. Her shield makes her suprisingly tanky too.

For her late game Zhonya's is a must. Diana has no escapes in her kit. Her playstyle is jump a carry and delete them, pop Zhonya's when the enemy team focuses her, and then jump to another carry as soon as she comes out of Zhonya's. As long as your team follows up its possible to neutralize multiple threats on the enemy team with her.

So yeah, she's really good right now. Just make sure you take advantage of her crazy mid game because it gets harder and harder to carry with her the longer the game goes on.
