Contrasting Champion for Orianna?

I've been playing Orianna for a while now, and while I have never noticed a real fluctuation in my performance, I recently checked out a chart comparing her matchups to her win rate and saw that she only has ONE matchup that averages to a win rate over 52%. (Orianna vs Akali) all of her other matchups are under 52%. While I've never been that interested in the numbers when it comes to who I play, this does put me on edge a little, so I ask you guys for contrasting or similar champions to play alongside Orianna for when I feel that I should really pick someone else. For example, one person said to me that Cassiopeia has a similar playstyle to Orianna and is worth picking up. Something like that.

Well the reason Orianna is in that state is because she doesn't hard counter anyone, nor does anyone hard counter her. It's entirely skill based, but Orianna basically has free reign against Akali pre-6 so it leads to a slightly inflated win rate. Also orianna is almost never banned and good in most team comps. She is the one champion I would spam every game if I could, so i don't think you should change xD

well if by similar to orianna you mean realy passive and had loads of utility and scales up lategame cassio is fine i play my ahri similar to orianna lulu has lots of utility but stronger early

Personally, I find Ori's good at battlefield control, so if you're into that kinda thing, i might go with heimer. Azir is another that feels alright compared to her, since you mostly go off soldiers for your offense. If you're in to the whole idea of controlling multiple things, you might try yorick (though he's a top, usually) since he's good at making people watch where they go. Or you could do Syndra. she's got one of the same things ori does, where you gotta keep track of her positioning in relation to her balls. of course, she has more than one, and they go away after a while, but she's got good cc, and is plenty fun to play with! i think out of all the one's i've named, she'd be the best after ori. though she is one of the more expensive champs. . . whoever you decide to go for, good luck!
