LoL Patcher has scanned 8000+ files and won't stop?

I opened up my Patcher and it started scanning filed at a 33% mark- I suspect that this is the hotfix for the new SR for people who were experiencing performance issues. That's fine, because I'm one of those people, but it's been scanning for quite some time now- at least half an hour, and it isn't showing a sign of stopping. I can't track its progress or anything, because there is no progress bar. Not sure if something's wrong with my patcher or it's supposed to take this long. Thoughts?

Exact same issue im having. I got home from school and wanted to play with some friends but as I am 10,000 files and counting in this patch I have been unable to play for about an hour now. My friends get their client patched in about 3 minutes but mine is the only one that does this 1 hour long file scan but the patch download/install takes 2 minutes for me.

I'm having the same problem. I've been stuck on 3 files for at least 30mins now. I don't see how this is taking so long.

even tried repairing and its still scanning after it finishes repairing

after i repaired it scanned a few thousand files and patched woot

Same problem... game was fine, I closed it and then went to open again and now this... ridiculous.

Mine was at 33% with over 30k scanned files.

I have the EXACT same problem! I am not able to play and can only wait for it to download even more files. Even though it won't move from the 33%. Riot should REALLY fix this, I just want to play a friggin game :(

This Is what I did to fix it

Close out of your patcher and go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_game_client\filearchive and delete the filearchive folder. Start your patcher again, wait a bit and it should start updating and go above the 33% . Ahri
