BOTRK is best used when the enemy has high health, so it's a bit more useful later when the tanks have a chance to scale. For more early damage and farming, go with a straight up damage item, first. Besides, it's not the tank you're supposed to focus on early game, it's pushing the opposing ADC out of lane. Buidling BOTRK early gimps your AA, your ricochet, and your boomerang (BOTRK only procs on the AA/first ricochet shot and not at all on the boomerang vs. straight damage that boosts everything)......so you've effectively given yourself no chance to bully or farm in order to do a percentage of low health target's life as extra damage on a target that WANTS you to hit them instead of their partner. Later, definitely, BOTRK is great for busting those Mundo's and Cho's, but not right off the bat. Best of luck out there! Stay safe on the rift, use the buddy system!
