How do you get your jungler to gank??? I'm stumped.

I read everywhere, don't push your lane. If the enemy pushes recklessly, farm safe under your turret. Save mana to help with the gank, stay healthy.

Yeah, except in reality if you're pushed to your turret it means you're weak, passive and a coward. It's just how people are wired to perceive behaviour.

Jungler takes a glance and doesn't want to "associate" with people they have contempt for. So they never gank, they'd rather fruitlessly gank an enemy who is close to turret and obviously can't be killed.

Same thing applies for enemy jungler or mid. Eventually they look at the map and see you under your turret playing like a pansy, here comes the 3-4 man gank. You're 0-1 but the enemy laner matches your CS - so you're STILL behind despite doing everything right. You also lose your turret and your team starts bashing you. You can no longer get too much cs because you'll be overextended.

I have never won a game where I do what supposedly the jungler loves to see and gank.

So here's the deal. I main jungle and I play a bit of every lane (mostly top) so I can kind of understand what you are saying. But there's a couple things you have to realize.

  1. As a jungler I never look for who's a coward or not that's just stupid because not all matchup share in your favor. The number one thing a jungle should be looking for is opportunities, so when your pushed to your tower and the enemy is overextended in my mind I see that as an immediate kill or flash.

  2. You should never EXPECT anything from your jungle. Maybe it's their worst role and they got last pick. You can't ever be sure if your jungler is plastic 7 or diamond 1. So don't ever think of your jungler like he needs to gank. (Remember who's lane it is) asking nicely works to sometimes, if your lane is quiet and there are no kills the jungles doesn't notice.

  3. Look at your own lane matchup. Is its a lane where you are against a Nasus ward up because Nasus is just gunna sit under his turret and then you get ganked by the enemy jungler. But if you are against a champ like Riven pull back under turret and now she's fucked cuz she can't farm or go all over you.

As for the 3 or 4 man ganks think of it like this. If they are all trying to reck you the rest of your team gets ahead of them. The point I'm trying to get across is you can't control your jungler, don't try to.

You doN't. That's what you fucking laners cna't understand. THe jungler has his own things and HE alone will decide if he invests into ganking your lane. If he does be happy about it - if he doesn't you'll have to make it w/o him. It is not the jungler's job to win/carry your lane. Deal with it.

Insult their mother. They will come to your lane for revenge, see the enemy in plain sight, and since you can't engage in friendly fire their natural urge to kill will push them towards the enemy.

At some point, right after you notice them leaving a camp, calmly post in chat "300g duck waiting for you mid/top/bot [junglers champ here], have followup". The new jungle, even with buffs, doesn't give much money unless people gank. there's a spreadsheed somewhere, but I can't find it from a quick google search. In short, a jungler who doesn't gank gets support level gold, which is why tank junglers are pretty common right now. But if you call out free cash, and that you'll help them get it, they'll be interested. The first time, unless they're giving it to you, try and give them the kill. i know that if i ge a kill in a lane, that extra 150g goes a long way to making me wanna come back.

TL;DR: junglers are greedy, make it about the cash.

when i need a gank i just ping 3 times and say why i need it and 80% of the time they come. at this point 50% of the junglers either camp my lane knowing i know how to get a good gank off or the enemy laner is just stupid mindlessly pushing, or they go help another lane assuming i win lane hard especially some like cho or ahri mid or riven rumble shen malph top.

free kill mid no flash 8:36.

and dont be afraid to let them tax you because if you give them some minons, they are more likely to come back and help you more

Sounds like you're playing with some horrible junglers.

Giving your junglers info can really sway their decision. Call out when your opponents burn flash. Call out when and where they ward. Nothing frustrates a jungler more than moving to gank your lane multiple times and getting no pressure out of it because the laners aren't keeping track of where their opponents are warding. Remember that each time a jungler takes time to gank he is falling behind in gold and experience.

Your goal should be to try and freeze the lane slightly on your side of the river but not so you have to farm under tower. If the lane is pushed to your opponents side of river a gank is still possible but the junglers will have to sneak through the lane brush which requires that you sweep the brush or lay down a pink to clear out any wards.

Try repeatedly killing your lane opponent 1v1. That will probably bring jungler ganks.

Seriously though... maybe if you duo queued with a jungler that understands what you are doing. Maybe.

I typically just provide my jungler information.

  • Enemy no [defensive summoner]
  • Enemy warded here at XX:XX
  • Let them know that the enemy is overextending or ask for their help when they have the opportunity

Generally, if you are capable of surviving laning phase alone you are a more appealing target to gank because:

  • You aren't behind (your opponent isn't ahead) so ganking them isn't too risky
  • You have proven yourself reasonably competent, therefore they are more likely to trust you to help carry the game or to react to the gank appropriately

However, you have to keep in mind that the jungler doesn't exist to help you specifically. There are two jungles, several neutral objectives, and three lanes that the jungler has to try and control. Sometimes you just have to trust that they have good reasons behind their decisions.

firstly you try not to lose your lane so much that he cant gank and sometimes you pick champ there is no point to gank for you as jungler gets more out of his ganks in other lanes or simply just messing around whole laning phase with enemy jungler and farming.

I noticed behavior like you describe, people lose lane because they get outpicked or just simply play worse than enemy laner then they think jungler comes and will rescue you somehow, thing is when situation like this happens, i as a jungler, just simply feel i cant do anything to help you out and i will more or less abandon you or simply come just to hold tower if needed and focus on other tasks.

If this happens to You i would like to recommend to go and roam, join ganks your jungler does, go bot/top/mid with him raze towers, get dragons, push your lane and go roam
