Assassin Vs Kennen... Mid lane

I'm thinking of ways to constantly destroy zed with an equally bullish badass from the top lane... I'm honestly terrible with kennen vs hp bruisers... since they just get dorans shield and pwn me because I get cocky. however maybe kennen is much better with these melee assassins everyone's been complaining about ? Part of kennen's power is how little people understand his kit. They completely underestimate his W passive auto combo burst and especially his Q damage. Of course, kennen's been out of the OP champions roster for so long, these "OP champ" abusers might have very well forgotten his existence.

How will kennen potentially do vs these intensely bursty melee assassins? He certainly has lvl 1 advantage since his W/Q can dish out major dps them down immediately. He might have lvl 2 advantage on fizz and akali, since fizz either doesn't have his Q, or his E... and while akali can shroud, kennen can easily land a charge before stealth and W and Q into the shroud.

Hopefully kennen can hit level 6 before or at the same time these assassins do, so he can use ult as disengage.

What can these champs do to punish kennen? I must know to continuously destroy more meta following assassin abusers!
