Dear diary,
I just watched Riot's Patch rundown for the very first time. Riot keeps repeating the phrases "We do not hate assassins" and " Character variety."
Personally, what I found infuriating from this patch was not the removal of DFG. Farming AP champs are already going down hill e.g.:
due to mana problems; riot's clearly trying to balance the scales by nerfing the burst AP champs too. What I found infuriating instead was their pathetic excuse of a nerf for .
At first I was really excited for an engaging conversation about AD midlaners (mainly zed), but after 11 minutes of endless rambling about how DFG removal isn't that big of a deal (which I get), they have yet to address the AD champs, primarily on how AD in every position is superior to AP.

in most cases because of mana and CDR gates on all but a few champs such as

. It is obvious that riot does not hate assassins... they clearly love who ironically limits character variety in the midlane which they spent the whole patch notes rambling about.
To conclude, Riot is a walking irony.
Moral of the story: don't watch riot's videos.

This would not only allow for some nerfs to his bonus AD, but also to the base damage on his abilities to reduce his early game strength while maintaining his late game power. This also hurts his tower pushing and split pushing which Riot stated was the original intent behind the nerf.
