Game Recordings plus a random decay question.

What do you all use to record your games? I'd like to record my games then watch them back and take notes on areas to improve...what I did wrong etc. I get hyped while playing, especially in ranked, so I'm not the best at flat recalling all that happened after a 40 minute match. I've tried LOLReplay..but for some reason I can't get the thing to actually work. (It doesn't seem to record any game except for my most recent...and then it doesn't accept my password to login to watch the game).

Addtionally...can you decay out of Gold into Silver?...and can you decay from various tiers within Gold and Silver to a lower tier...aka...Silver 3 decay into Silver V...and what is the general time frame that decay occurs. Thank you for any valuable responses.

The website gives you the option of recording your games, and you can grab the replays off of their site, I think it saves them for 10 days, but you download a file for it anyway, and they're very small files. I'm not sure how the .bat files work exactly, I can update you in two days to make sure my oldest recorded game is still available or not.

Alternatively you could stream your games on twitch and select the option to save VODs, I think Twitch saves your past streams for a very long time if not eternally, and who knows you could get a following and make some money at it.

As to your decay question, Gold does not decay, I think Platinum does, but diamond and everything above certainly does decay. So no you have no decay worries when it comes to being in gold. The only thing to worry about is getting demoted through losses.

Gold and below do not decay, If I recall correctly. As for recordings, there's LSI. Itll keep a log of games recently played and recordings. I believe you can specify which types of matches it should record (normal, ranked, etc). And it has a nice little feature that will randomize the login screens every time you open the client. Or if there's a login screen you really like, you can tell it to only use that one for the login screen. I don't really know what other features it's got. I also don't remember if it's allowed by riot. Last I remember it's one of those "it's against our ToU but doesn't give any advantage so we'll turn the other way for now" type of deals. Can anyone confirm this for me?

You can use obs (open broadcasat software), its the same things used to stream, but you can alternatively just save the files instead of actually streaming. link to download page for OBS: https://obsproject.com/download
