Laning as Renekton vs Ranged?

Oh man, this lane feels like such a struggle and I feel almost useless as I lose any snowball ability from the get go. Renekton is my main, and I almost always win lane against a melee champion, but I've fought a influx of Quinn's lately and... It's gone bad, real bad. I start cloth armor + 5 pots and I get kicked out of lane so early it's not even funny. I had my Shaco babysit me toplane the majority of the game and it didn't end up to much, as Quinn would just come back and still poke me to death under my tower. I assumed the plan in this was to try and get a stun off before she does her kickflip, and walk infront of her as now she can't escape. She just did a shitton of damage in the meantime and I built mostly armor!

I'm feeling lost in this match-up, and would love some pointers on how to win lane (or, I guess, SURVIVE).

Haven't played him since they nerfed him.

You can't really win lane against Quinn. Her entire playstyle top is to bully you out and take your turret 5 minutes in then go roam to other lanes, and there is very little you can do to prevent it from happening.

However, as much as she wants to be a solo lane assassin, she is still an ADC, so she will struggle later on in the game since she doesn't have a support assigned to protect her. As long as your team don't feed her, your team will outscale hers, since having more than one ADC is a liability in teamfights, especially if you have an assassin on your team.

As far as laning is concerned, you HAVE to start item 1029 5 item 2003. Then you can either build into item 3047 or item 3075, or even build both if you really want to piss her off. And by the time you have at least one of these items, you can win trades in lane.
