Farming while losing?

I tend to look up my characters match-ups and counters and whatnot while the game loads up, and I do this especially with MonkeyKing , and everytime I do I'm amazed to see every matchup seems to be a losing one in lane. This is really annoying, as I run into a lot of Garens (like every other wukong game is garen) and it become incredibly frustrating even standing at my tower. I miss out on farm, exp, still lose trades, and never really make it out of laning phase as Garen is just sitting up there the whole damn game pushing my inside turret or something, so I can't really leave lane ever to go help in teamfights. I've never "won" lane as Wukong (i.e got kills, got tower, made jungler camp me) which really makes it a tough game because I can never leave top do to the nonstop pressure.

Now, I always assumed that if I can't win a trade, I just have to pick my time to farm and when to just soak EXP, but even then it feels like I just get shut down, hard, and have to rely on either every other lane doing really well, or the enemy team being bad at finishing game, so I get to the part where Wukong excels at.

What should I do to farm while losing lane?

if you know you are starting to lose lane, what you should do is try to get whatever cs you can without getting harassed, and let the wave push into your tower.

Right before it gets to tower range, pull the minions to the side and tank them till your minions come. You effectively freeze the lane in a very good spot, easy for your jung to gank, and hard for the enemy to reset and or dive.

If it is too dangerous to even do that, then i would say abandon lane, and gank mid with your jung and push it hard.
