this is the reason people lose 100% of the time

because you rely on other people. you gotta do things yourself.

people always bitch about support not warding. tf?! im pretty sure you can buy wards at the store. i mean fuck, rito gives you one for free. . ever seen an lcs game? EVERYONE buys wards, not just support.

mid lane didn't call mia? how about you're more aware and ward more? obviously if someone leave the map they're only doing 1 of two things. Recalling, or ganking.

focus on what YOU CAN CONTROL, not on your "shit jungler" or your "noob mid".

dont focus on things out of your control, like enemy jgler camping, bot feeding, etc etc. focus what options you have in order to help out your team mates.

I thought I was losing because my Nexus exploded.

PREACH!!!!!!

I have a motto I learned from trick2g: "Every loss is your fault." People worry too much about what other people could have done. You cant change your team mates but you can change yourself. If you didn't do the very best you can then you have something you could be working on. I hate when people get mad that someone roamed and killed them. What if that was the jungler? Basically, you had no wards and you simply didn't think anyone would come to your lane to kill you for about 15 minutes until the lanning phase is over? Sure, your team mates have problems but so do you. If your team isn't reliable then do things yourself. It's called solo que for a reason.

mid lane didn't call mia

shit jungler; noob mid

bot feeding, etc etc.

For anyone who needs a tl;dr. This is what OP is basically saying ^

Yup you gotta do it yourself if you want it done right. Except sometimes people take the mentality to an extreme where they feel like they absolutely have to 1v5 and do everything yourself. Team mates are tools at your disposal. Sometimes your tool is a fed mid Viktor who can carry you if you play around him or your 1-10 Hecarim top who you just need to engage and distract / buy time in a team fight for you to carry. I always make suggestions to my team (never tell someone exactly what to do imo) like "locket would be really good this game" or "we need an upgraded sweeper for Vayne." If someone is feeding or playing terribly the last thing you want to do is remind them about it with a unnecessary comment. The best thing to do is to just keep playing and say nothing. Your team will notice when you are focused and in it to win it. For example, last game my team was bickering about the enemy fed Ryze. As they were re spawning I was doing scuddle. "drag 30 we can get it" I said and dropped a pink ward in river, as an ADC. After that the focus of my team was changed from what went wrong early game to what should we do next.

Or, its a team game and we win or lose together.

You didn't solo carry your win, you and your team won it together, just like you didn't cause that loss, you and your team lost together.

Saying you have to hard carry every game is downplaying the nature of a team game and is doing more to ruin soloq than anything else.

It's a zero-sum game. If someone wins, someone has to lose.

Hence, 100% of games have players who lose.

This game cant be single handedly carried. You need your team no matter how good you are. You can do everything right, and still lose. That is to say no one does everything right. BUT no single individual is the cause of a loss, the entire team is.

Wanna know the best part? They upgrade wards :)

Markus Kruber7/15/2015, 4:24:44 PM1 votes

You can't carry a losing team against a winning team all by yourself 5 of you trist bot, thresh bot, (both feeding), top naut feeding, jg rammus feeding, and you fed ass veigar who has best KDA you still cannot beat the 4 fed ass tanks and the fed ass adc on the other team. You can try, you can kill at least 2 of them before all the tanks ccs disable you for 15 seconds and the adc rips you apart or if the adc is dead all the remaining tanks rip you apart.

I thought this was gonna be really whinny but these are all really good points. If you`re a supp or jungle, aim to set up a play every time your ult is up. Just doing this makes it so there is less time wasted doing unnecessary stuff like aimlessly walking around waiting for something to happen.

Once I had a Leona support who wouldn't buy sightstone so I did.

In response to the thread: Bard

He can only make people as good as they are. If they are good he can make them better. If they are shit they will have complete diarrhea.

Remlap12237/7/2015, 8:16:45 PM1 votes

But when I play support and hit my ward cap, and I ask my team to ward and then they tell me it's the support's job, despite there being 3 stealth and 1 pink on the map already, how do I somehow hack the ward cap?

I'm more that willing to admit when I fucked up, but sometimes your teammates can be completely brain dead. Unfortunately for us, the players that are simply MMR gravity don't get sifted from the actual ones with potential in Solo Queue, and unless you can pubstomp hard all the time, you'll end up in ELO hell if you get consistently matched with them.

Gorgiolio7/7/2015, 8:21:30 PM1 votes

I lose because the people on my team don't do that for themselves. I can't even count the amount of people who don't even upgrade their trinkets. I'm pretty sure I place more wards than the support sometimes.

KarKzz7/7/2015, 8:32:16 PM1 votes

Sometimes, i see people warding.. but not looking at their wards. At the point that i don't care anymore if i walk into the crab blood to gank a lane. And often, i was right, they didn't see me coming.

High57/8/2015, 1:31:37 AM1 votes

I do buy wards as an adc when the sup chooses not to. Honestly, everyone should be warding, but most choose not to.

wwwdots7/7/2015, 4:35:54 PM1 votes

if a support is not warding its a definitely a reason to bitch, just because u can ward for your self doesn't mean support should neglect their job. if they don't ward? u tell them to ward? if they still don't do it nag till they do. cause a support not doing their job is same as having an afk or rather worse, an extra bag to carry.
