To all those who get stuck in a ghost game

C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\releases\0.0.1.88\deploy

(just a note this is how I get to my riot games folder it could be different for you)

Inside the deploy folder there is an icon that shows league of legends. Click on it, it will tell you this is the improper way of opening up league. Click on the icon a few more times (it can work on the first attempt but just to be safe). It should clear up your problem
