I don't know what it is but I can't seem to help my team secure a victory. I have started out in pvp and I have played four matches with every single one resulting in a humiliating defeat. Last game we only destroyed one turret. I don't know what my issue is or whether I am just having bad luck with teammates.
Also in case you are wondering, I primarily do support with either Taric or Zilean.
You're level 8? So don't worry too much about playing a "support". Taric and Zilean are pretty weak champions to try to carry a team that's losing.
Nobody really knows what they're doing at that level (unless you're playing with smurfs), so utility supports aren't very effective. If you really want to win, play something that does serious damage. Zilean kind of can, but you have to build pure damage, and you will be lacking money to do that in the support role...
dont worry about it honestly just enjoy playing the game you'll get better eventually, but honestly in low levels like Amelie said those supports aren't really fully effective due to your team not really knowing how to utilize what they can do.
play aram first to get to know the champs in and out.
One thing I recommend is to watch some professional matches to see how the game works and to see what's important. The OCE pro league has ended for the season, but all of the major pro regions (NA, EU, China, Korea, Taiwan) are still playing.
If you're level 1-20 or so and you wanna support
is perfect.
Her stun and slow are insanely easy to land and pretty strong early game.
If you have a good adc he can get a nice feast in lane.
If your adc sucks, you can easily become the carry.
Her ult has an insanely low CD.
Her stun and slow make it a breeze to kite down enemies when a skirmish/ team fight breaks out.
Mid lane getting screwed? Rotate mid for a gank.
is your best friend for maximum harrass.
Her stun has a very long range.
Because her stun can hit 2 targets your opponent can't hide behind a minion to farm and they will OFTEN forget it can still hit them.
Just be sure to harrass often and PROC YOUR PASSIVE!
