Need help playing ADC
i am a terrible adc but i really want to get better at it so i can do decent in ranked games if i have to.
some general tips on what to and what not to do would be GREAT.

1.) Last hitting is everything 2.) If you can trade and last hit, do so, but not at the cost of last hitting, if you have to choose between one... just last hit (farm) 3.) When 1 is good move on to 2. 4.) Last hit while paying attention to your minimap, so you can see the roams/jungler position. 5.) In solo Q, let your support make the plays, never force a play, just followup on them. 6.) Don't be afraid to buy a pink during laning to help with vision. 7.) If you are un-gankable and you are a farming monster you will be a beast. 8.) While fighting always "orb" walk / kite, when you are chasing or being chased... for more info google "orb walking" 9.) In teamfights, positioning is EVERYTHING. 9a.) if you are a long range adc stay far back, if they have all their CC up NEVER go in, even if it means attacking their front line only. 9b.) if you are a vayne type, just because you have 2 stacks of your W on a target does NOT mean chase them through their team to proc the W, if they get away then just switch to a closer target, where your positioning is safest. 9c.) DO not tunnel vision in team fights, try to be aware of the ults/cc that have already been cast at your team / yourself to gauge what positioning risk you are willing to give up. 9d.) If they have assassins, during teamfight be wary of flanks, dont get caught by that fizz ult from fog. 10.) Objectives win games not kills, don't worry about your KDA, if you can take a tower instead of chasing down that low hp Yi, then take the tower. 10b.) Always look at the map for objectives. 11.) If both teams are just stalling in a lane, go to a safe lane and take a free tower. 12.) never stop farming, always be farming.
Practice steps 1 - 12 and you will be a beast.

only care about yourself, if your teammates are caught, let them die
farm is top priority. Be a little chicken in lane if youre losing and try to get as much as you can. My #1 adc advice is to never count a fight over before it is. One time, if i would have been afraid and ran, nothing would have happened. but blitz grabbed tk under our turret, i chompered, jinx dived bc blitz was low and tk had aggro, managed to kill tk withmini gun, aggro moved to jinx, then i blindly zapped, and ulted and got a double. Always try to do damage and it may net yyou a kill and put you back into the game as 0/3/1 to a 9/3/10 monster
