Ekko is an Assassin with a large amount of CC on his, passive, Q, and W. So basically a control mage + A Highly Mobile Assassin. Tell me the last time that worked without being broken.

so does every other champion in the game if you can count. don't forget Chogath spikes if you can kill him, the list goes on.

Gnar while still being a very strong top laner he still has some counter play to him. u always know when gnars about to transform so all u do is back off when he transforms and engage when hes little gnar. u cant do that with ekko. ekko has little to no counter play.

almost all champs have some form of draw back, weakness, or counter play. ekko has none of those things unless u some how manage to poke him down enough for him to waste his ult. highly unlikely though with the shield he gets and with as much lane pressure as he has.

Ekko will get nerfs as soon as some of the top players start using him as support. Just wait. He's strong as a midlaner, but not unbeatable. He's far too much to deal with in bot lane though.

Already seen it in ranked. It's bad. All the benefits of a kill lane with none of the drawbacks.

If you want to beat Ekko, play AP Fizz (so sad I have to specify that after freaking AD/tank Fizz). With Fizz, either ult him and wait for his ult if it is up, or engage when he doesn't have ult and burst him to hell. At least Fizz counters SOMEONE with all these fucking Yasuos and Talons running around with 800 damage Qs with two items and 1000 damage Ws with 3...
