Hey im looking for tips because ive recently started maining the adc role over mid. Mostly because of the god-awful cringe worthy positioning of some of these "marksman" mains. Ayways, looking on advice and what do do. Champs i play are jinx, kalista, and twitch. Any help would be appreciated :D

to the list of ADCs you can play. She has a safe, pokey lane for some match ups and I highly recommend anyone trying ADC get familiar with her because of it.
If you can't CS, go into a custom game and practice CSing. I was told to just do the first 10 minutes, and try to get as close to 100 as possible.
Compliment you support on good plays. You're pretty much stuck to them for the entire game, you might as well try to at LEAST do that.
Also ward. You have an entire lane given to you by one (or two if your jungler comes in) fed to you. If you can't buy a pink, upgrade your yellow, or buy a normal ward at any point in the game, you suck.
This is coming from a support main.
AlphaKappaPika1 votesI will add cait to my roster. I CAN cs though I've even gotten 100 in 10 minutes before. I do compliment my support on good mlg fedora plays, and I generally put a pink in tri/river and if i have extra ill get a green. Thanks for the tips :D

Darkshade244 votesI think I can help you with this question. As an ADC, your job is to do as much damage as possible without dying. This means not putting yourself in undo danger, like trying to focus their ADC, etc. Your positioning in a teamfight should always be on the edge of your attack range, attacking the closest target, even if it's the tank. If you go for a priority target, and end up dying, you'll be hurting your team much more than helping them.
Late game especially, focus on not dying., it's the single most important job of the ADC. If the enemy team has a Talon, and your support isn't doing their job of peeling for you, stay a little ways behind your team, wait for Talon to appear on someone else, then start autoing.

^ don't do that. I'd pick pickaxe + dorans over b. greaves any time on my first buy. It's crucial to have an advantage in lane. 25 ad + 8 ad + 70 hp + 3% life steal > atk speed. You can trade better cause you'll be dealing more dmg and you can life steal a bit better. The only time i'll ever rush b greaves over other stuff is when i play vayne. I usually go cutless > b greaves > botrk.
Also this condition will come up from time to time; say you're doing well in a lane and you already have BF sword and Pick axe, and you're going to back, but you only have 1100. Get that b greaves instead of the crit cloak. Chances are your faster auto attack will deal more damage than the 18% chance crit. Dont EVER get a 
as your 3rd item after pick axe(assuming you pick dorans blade as your first item lol). if you have enough money just get boots + another dorans blade. If you have any help add me and I'll try to help as much as I can!

EDIT: You should try to play corki, lucian and graves. These champions are the bully of bot lanes. If you can play them at a decent level, you can climb the ladder with no problem. Ezreal is another safe champion that I love to play.

AlphaKappaPika1 votesgraves is the next champion im getting, i can play lucian at a decent level (used to be my main when i mained adc before) but he feels completely lackluster dmg wise and its hard to carry with him if you get to late game. I can play a mean corki though :D
