Lucain Build --- Essence Reaver..... ?

So. I have begun to learn Lucian on my way to "master" the adc position.

Was watching a Lucian commentary and this "pro" insists on going for Essence Reaver first for CDR+Mana Regen+ LifeSteal+ 80 dmg

(Thats nice considering how often Lucian needs to use abilities, especially the CDR for E)

Then he went to Ionia boots, (more CDR), then Brutalizer (More CDR + amor Pen)

From there he decides not to finish Yomuu's Ghostblade, and instead goes straight for IE, then finishes off YGhostblade afterwards

Final build finishes it off with Last Whisperer and Guardian Angel....

Is this bad or not ? Ive tried it and its not bad at all in my opinion

It keeps ur E active, ur Q active allowing u to spam attacks and evasions

Opinions compared to other Lucian builds ???

people use to go essence before the Lucian changes. he could basically dash every other second before. not too sure now, but that was the reasoning before the changes, which the video was liking from.

I'm actually an expert on this subject, Lucian was my most played champ this season and ER rush was my favorite build.

Long story short it's extremely good if you're ahead, garbage if you're behind. If you get 4 or more kills in lane and you're farming well, go for it, if not just go IE shiv.

If you go ER Brut Lucidity boots you've got extremely cheap and early 40% CDR, and when you get a couple ranks in your E you can chain your skills together infinitely so your DPS and kiting is through the roof.

That said, I think IE shiv is actually the better build - but ER is still viable and I'll use it in ranked occasionally if lane phase goes really well.

Its situational now. Essence reaver is a good choice if u dont really need sustain since the CDR is very useful on him. BT is pretty standard because it gives you the most lifesteal of any item and the passive isn't worth mentioning(its pretty hard to maintain the shield passive). Botrk is more of a defensive item.

item 3031 item 3087 item 3006 item 3035 item 3072 item 3139 ER isn't a very effecient item as it provides no crit which ADC's do need to maximize their damage output.

IE and then ghostblade I think, but I'm not 100% sure so don't just go by what I say of course. the full build would be ie>ghostblade>bt>LW>defence item with boots in there. sometimes change one item with another depending on the game though.
