Wits end or Abysal on chogath?

depends...If you just want to eat Teemo: abysal If you want to tear down a frontline: Wit´s End

or you just get both to shred MR apart for your team.

wits end is for when you are significantly ahead, or if you need a lot of help killing tanks; abyssal is if you are against an AP laner. I think both items may be more common for mid cho? i don't really build either for top lane chogath

I come up with this problem often in the jungle on tanks. Both Abyssal and Wit's End work well with Sunfire. My line of thought is this: PvE or lots of action in melee range, get Wit's End. The problem with it on Cho is that you have to be close enough for his E cone to hit on autos, where with Abyssal you're seeing instant long range benefit with Q and W and get the aura at close range. Both are excellent items though.

If you buy Devourer get Wit's End. If you buy Magus get Abyssal. If you're laning against someone who is AP and far away, get Abyssal. If you're laning against someone who has to sit in melee range to trade with you get WIt's End.
