Forget About The Concept of "Carrying"

You know how when people cry out "KS" and the one who got the kill says "its a team game"...?

The person who "carried" the match wouldn't have been able to make such an impact if it weren't for the rest of the team. We either Win as a Team or we Lose as a Team...there is nothing special for the "mvp" except for the good feelings you are allowed to have. But then...THAT match is over and its on to the next one where your score from the last game means nothing.

I have found that I have a much better rate of success in this game when I just focus on my part to help the team. If I start playing to try and "steal the spotlight", I make more mistakes because I get too desperate to show off

This community needs to learn to humble itself and not follow in the same ego-fueled footsteps that the Baby-Boomers and the Gen-X'ers do.

Occasionally single people can carry a team. They do this not by putting their team on their back, but by lifting them up to stand beside the carrier. You can race ahead and leave everyone else in the dust, or you can slow down and help your team catch up, so when you finally fall they can continue what you started.

We need less "I did that" and more "I played my part".
