10 Mid tips to gain ELO.

So I've been coaching tons of people in midlane, one on one, for a while now. I am now going to share the main tips with you guys. Try and improve on all of these and I guarantee you will go up in ELO :-). These tips are very specific and I guarantee all of you can benefit from following them.

1. Always go for harass/ trades when the enemy laner is auto attacking.

2. Always get a red trinket, and always upgrade it ASAP. No excuses.

3. If enemy mid roams bot and wants to come back mid, step in a bush along his path, pop your red trink, then pop the mofo and net yourself a free kill from ambush advantage.

4. Pay attention to mana bar!!! If you think they can't use all their spells, go in on them.

5. Double or triple dorans if you are a mage against an assassin, as it will give you extra survivability and very powerful early game stats. As a further notice, if you are an AP mage and you are against an AD, there is no excuse to not get a seeker's armguard first before a mana regen item. I don't care what stats that morello has, you need to not die to that zed first. And you don't need to rush into zhonyas asap, you can do that much later. Just GET THE SEEKERS ASAP.

6. If you are going to pinkward the side bushes, make sure to pink as close to your side of the map as possible. This way, if the enemy mid or jungler wants to go up to get the pink they have to walk within your range and this can potentially net you a free kill.

7. Already got a couple kills and feel confident? Get a mejai's. This item is often overlooked however this can get you steam rolling to the point where it doesn't matter if your team feeds.

8. Use probuilds.net for itemization, not these crappy guides that people make. Also make sure to click on some games if you are curious about a certain build path, as it may be based around a certain match-up/ team comp.

9. Aggro based on jungler presence. If your jungler is doing golems, it is probably not the time to nine-tailed dash in and charm that twisted fate. If his jungler comes in, you are going to have no reinforcement.

10. On a lasting note, please don't rush Rabadon's Deathcap. I see this happen quite a lot in low elo for some reason. People, without any AP it gives 120 AP basically for 3500 gold. You can get 80 AP, 20% CDR, 100% base MREN, and a unique active all for 2300 gold with morello.
