Elise in the new jungle

I did a test run as Elise yesterday (Red->Birds->Blue, which isn't even the optimal path) and ended my first clear with more than enough hp to still gank a lane. I've heard a lot of junglers just barely scrape by their first clear, so this is making me feel a bit optimistic.

What I wanted to ask is what smite type and enchant sound best for Elise? I've heard she used to like the old Ancient Golem and Juggernaut is basically just that. Chilling Smite naturally sounds the best on paper, but I don't wanna just jump to that without thinking over alternate options.

Stalker Blade man. Synergies perfect with Elise.

Elise, in my opinion, is a quick-clearing, gank-heavy, ap burst champion. I haven't played a whole lot in the new jungle, but in theory, Trailblazer should work fairly well with her. It has the AoE effect on smite for clearing the camps quickly as well as the restoring 15% of Health and Mana on use.

Then again, Stalkers blade seems to be quite useful for the CC and extra true damage (since she is a gank-heavy champion). Since Elise already has Crowd Control and a gap closer, I would probably go with Trailblazer (Just to try, to see if it works out) since she has weaker jungle clear than ganks.

With either Trailblazer or Stalkers blade, I would probably go with the Magus enchantment for the extra damage early on to help with ganks.

Just try things out, either should work fairly well if you know how to balance farming and ganking. I don't own Elise, so I can't try it so I encourage you to and tell us how they work out.

Krugs->Red->Blue seems to be a strong clearing path for her to reach level 3. Doing this I was able to complete her first clear to level 3 with full mp and almost full hp, though I used both pots. The krugs buff especially is very nice with her W. After level 3 she can easily reach one of two lanes to gank or kill the river crab.
