Does Nasus works better as a Top Laner or a jungler?

I checked those champion winrates, and it seems that Nasus is hovering around 51% winrate as a jungler. So my question is, is more suited as a jungler with op ganks? Or top lane where he can fill his Q stacks faster? Poll included.

Top if you want to be able to carry harder. The Q stacks are a big part of what makes nasus a late game beast. The jungle doesn't really give enough.

before jungle remake he could farm in jungle for retarded amounts on his Q, his stacks cut in half after changes...

Top for Carry, Jungle for safety.

If Jungle Nasus had "op = over powered" over powered ganks, the answer would be obvious that he's better as a jungler. It really bothers me when kids run around calling every single thing op and giggling about it. Stop. You don't know or understand what you're talking about.

Top and even Mid lane, that way he can farm up his Q and be a monster tank+do heavy damage at end. People scoff at him midlane, but he's awesome there, all you have to do is survive early level pokes, which isn't hard, and continue to farm up, even if it's under the tower. After a certain level not many champs hurt you much if your build is right, with exception of teemo, because teemos damage needs a nerf. Also the only really hard counter i've seen for nasus in a 1v1 situation is probably quinn, her kickback is unstoppable+it slows you+lets her unload so it's a rough day against a quinn.

I wouldn't rely on champion win-rates personally. Some champions have lower win-rate than others but are considered OP.

nasus has a pretty safe lane honestly. his big problem is teamfight presence before he has about 300+ stacks and 2-3 items. he cant get those stacks very quickly in the jungle compared to top, but its harder for him to participate in teamfights from top than it is in the jungle. double edged sword. neither is probably definitively better than the other.

Top...period...not even close.

I don't know why you would ever jungle Nasus. His gap closer is a medium range slow on a fairly long CD. He can't farm Q very much. Just being able to sustain in the jungle doesn't make you a good jungler. There generally needs to be some mobility, stealth or cc options, and he has none of these. What makes him such a beast in top lane is that he can build full tank, farm Q and be unstoppable in late game.

i mean lyke.. if u got lee sin top lane I guess you could jungle nasus to get through your first couple stacks and then swap places with lee sin ;l

Each one has their ups and downs. Jungle he is decent because of his E to help clear and his W to help ganks, but in turn, leaves his Q underfarmed and that is only a slow compared to other junglers stuns and knock ups and shit. In turn, Top, he can get more farm, but he susceptible to being camped.

Well, two seasons ago, I carried myself to Gold by using Jungle Nasus, which was amazing. But they changed him up a lot which makes him a more viable top lane champion just because of his Q stacks. I still think Jungle Nasus could still be okay. You just won't have that threatening of a presence with your Q, however that Wither is still amazingly OP. Gank a lane, drop a Spirit Fire to shred their defense stat, wither and help your lane start punching them. :) as the game begins to progress and you get a little bit of room to breathe, then you can try going to some of those open lanes and farming your Q a little bit.
