Best Smite and Enchantment for Rengar

So I've begun to play Rengar in the jungle. And so far its been pretty good. However, I don't wanna settle for pretty good. So one thing that's been bugging me for a while is Smite on Rengar. For starters, which smite to go with. So far, I've only ever used Purple smite, but I've seen some people use Blue, and a few use Red. And while I know that using blue is somewhat counter intuitive thanks to his E, I'm just wondering if its an ok thing to have as a back up in the event that you screw up and miss your E. Then there's enchantments. So far, I've only used Warrior, but I'm wondering if there's anything that works better. So yeah, any help on this would be great.

if you wanna get really good at rengar i suggest watching some of nightblue3's rengar games here http://www.twitch.tv/nightblue3/profile/past_broadcasts or if he is streaming remove the profile and past broadcasts part of the url. but to answer the question ranger's and warrior because you have no use for the tanky stats the lich bane thing or the double hit from devour.

Hmm now that i think about it i'Ll try that runeglaive rengar for once just for fun. The double roaring Q ing hybrid build hue.

I always use trailblazer for the sustain; blue smite seems unnecessary, and challenging smite works better for drawn-out fights, but Rengar primarily wants to ult in and burst a target down. The poachers smite sucks, never get it on anyone.

As an AD caster/assassin, i think warriors is the best enchant for Rengar. He doesn't benefit that much from attack speed (beyond what empowered Q gives him), and he needs the AD and armor pen. Cinderhulk is an intriguing choice, but tank rengar hasn't been a thing for a while; his base damage isn't enough to be useful if you build tank.

A lot of high elo Rengar players (Akadian, Pridestalker, and recently NB3) skip a jungle enchantment altogether. item 3077 item 3142 and item 3035 are Rengar's core items. Getting the jungle enchantment delays your core, and you sell the jungle item later anyways once your inventory slots are full. Furthermore a lot of people like to get 15% CDR from runes and masteries so that item 3158 and puts you at the 40% CDR cap.

item 3713 is the best smite variation, IMO. As a carry jungler, Rengar needs to be able to farm quickly to buy his expensive items. He doesn't need the slow or the extra damage from the other smites. Faster clear means more gold for Rengar, and more frequent ganking opportunities.
