How do I carry games?

I'm currently in Bronze 4 90 LP I win lane most of the time. I main Anivia Veigar KogMaw(AD and AP) (but I also play a little bit of Aatrox Kennen Shyvana )have an incredible pool of knowledge over most - if not - all of their lane matchups and can play them extremely effectively.

But I have 2 primary problems which hinder me from climbing: Firstly, I can't roam/gank for shit and I find it really difficult to find opportunities to roam because when I do kill my laner i'm out of mana (on Veigar and Anivia). Secondly, I cannot get people to listen for the life of me. I try to get the team to rotate around the map, ward, play safely, be careful for roams, and pressure the map so we can secure objectives and win the game. But all people want to do in Bronze is 5 mid and teamfight all the time, no one wants to initiate a teamfight and when the enemy does we all die.

I'm not toxic in the slightest, I make clear points, I try not to criticize others mistakes and I try to be funny and interesting so that people will want to listen to me. But I just can't get people to listen. It doesn't matter how fed I am, what i'm providing for the team, or how much sense my decisions make. You can check out my match history if you wish (the last few games were while I was at my friends house and I couldn't focus on the game and in the Veigar game my mouse crapped out for about 6 mins in.) Thanks for the help in advanced and I hope to see you guys (if you are higher elo :P) when I get to your elo.

stick with your strengths or work on your weaknesses. you can hard split push and force many people to come to you and you just kill them all or play carefully when they go mia on the map and you take away pressure from your other lanes. (saying this since you have trouble roaming).

in bronze 4, you really can do everything solo if you really want to.

There are a lot of things you simply can't explain. Carrying is one of them, due to the fact that no two games are the same. The only thing I will point out, about your inability to roam is that you are looking at a roam the wrong way. Yes, in an ideal roam you have shoved your lane into their tower and miss nothing for it however that is in a perfect world, not the real one. Sometimes in order to lend some of your power to your team you may have to roam with less than optimal conditions in order to create map pressure beyond just your own lane.

Often times you can accomplish this by simply walking up a different lane other than your own after you b (since usually this will be to purchase items increasing your power). Other times you will do this when you know that the enemy team is about to make a play that would otherwise leave your team with less numbers during a gank ect.

Be aware of the fact that after a point, killing your opposing laner has little to no more positive impact for your team. If you go 10/0 in lane but top and bot both get crushed there is a good chance you will not carry this game unless you are just all around mechanically and decision making-ly better than their team.

Winning your lane is easy, however transitioning your lane advantage into the mid game is not. Just work on things that increase your advantage while in lane. Improving your skill at trading and CSing, along with learning how to zone against opponents of different ranges, will go a long way.

Tips can't replace personal experience, however the better your position when the lane phase ends the easier it will be to learn what exactly you're supposed to be doing in the later stages.

Thanks for all of the advice, it's really helpful and I totally appreciate it all. I'll try and apply it to all of my future games :)

Dont die, pressure objectives, farm, pretty much just work on the basics and perfect them

Pretty much what armistice said. As a jungle main who's had to climb from bronze 5 to high silver-mid gold for the past 3 seasons: from bronze through silver, people generally drop their trinket ward right as minions are about to hit at around 2 minutes in, after that they seem to forget that they have a free ward. so around 3- 4 minutes in you should have level 3-4 and double buffs, a lot of junglers can use that spike to gank either mid or top and force a flash/get a kill. one of the biggest things to do is time everything, if you force a flash, be back in the next 5 minutes or so and try and get a kill before it's back up. Once team fights start, work on keeping your man damage source alive/killing their carry, people in lower elo almost never peel, which means you can generally walk right up to their carry and kill them, making the teamfight a 4v5. Objective control is big, after your first jungle clear, you should have enough for upgraded machete, 1 pink, 2 greens, and a mana pot or 2, depending on if you took crab or not. Blue side drop a pink ward on river bush right on the back of blue and get your 3 wards (2 normal 1 trinket) around bot side/river. Keeping tabs on the enemy jungler/laners is the best thing you can do down here. If you see their mid/jungle start to roam to a lane, ping your laners back and type in chat that you're coming, because a lot of people don't pay much attention to the mini map. Also, try and maintain vision on dragon so you always have the timer or an approximate timer of when its going to spawn. Jungle timing if you didn't have vision of when the buff/epic was slain goes 5/6/7 5 for buffs, 6 for drake, 7 for baron.
