Low elo bans

Why do people insist on banning the LCS meta? We should be banning out the low elo champ pools that consist of tryndamere, yi, mumu, xin zhao, heimerdinger, etc.

I laugh when people ban MasterYi. Such a joke champion with an abysmal winrate and no strategic flexibility and absolutely useless until late game. Then I get pissed because I actually like playing him since he is a splitpush monster.

You should just be banning the easy to play champs. Vi, Annie, Xin Zhao, Sejuani, etc.

Whatever happened to Shen Malphite Amumu bans? Now those were the days...

I think Heimer would be a good ban in low elo if I didn't play him, and i I saw him picked more (honestly he is almost always up for me and banned once or twice in the 150 games or so I've played). People in low elo don't know how to deal w/ him and let him do tons of damage. Yi I sometimes play against good ones I guess, but the only reason I'd really ban yi or tryn in low elo (I just don't see them do enough to be the reason my team would lose in games they are in) is a tryn ban bc he sucks to lane against top as Heimer.

I think Sej is still a ban I really like to ban bc she is so annoying and has enough CC to cause problems. Also I never see Xin in games I play or I'd probably ban him too.

My favorite low elo ban (although I've been doing it less since the nerf trying to see how much of an issue she still is) is jinx, since low elo struggles to end games and so she can scale up in games even if she loses lane and she can turn shit around.

Because there are retarded people who wants to become an LCS wannabes and tends to stupidly picks champs because "I dunno how to use him, but according to LCS, he's Op!".

I'd also like some input on this. I'm going to start my provisionals very soon and am quite curious. Any thoughts on banning Xerath Thresh Honestly, I don't know anything about banning champs. :L

Tryndamere is indeed OP in solo queue, but Yi is actually quite easy to shut down. Nautilus hard counters him from any role (jg top or support). Xin, Heimer, Amumu, etc are also easy to shut down.

in my (limited) experience if you dont ban Kat then youre making a big mistake. She always seems to go off

Tryndamere, Heimer, and Yi are easy to deal with, almost no one plays Mumu in my corner of Bronze 5, and Xin can only carry if we let him. He doesn't become the unstoppable force like Vi, he's more of a Zed-like Assassin.

To be fair, at that elo you need to ban champs like lee sin specifically so your teammates wont pick them.

I can agree with this. Sometimes you want people to pick those "op" champs when they are high skill cap and them people fall on their faces.
